My tape ended up coming undone due to heat, so I used a zip tie, anything to hold the seat belt all the way up towards front of car on guide rail that sest belt is connected too. Foam tubing will work as well.
This is ultimately a seatbelt issue, not an extender issue. Your seatbelt is all worn and dirty. Steaming them makes them more pliable and soft so they land where they’re supposed to, and it also takes out the crease that develops in the belt over time which makes the belt slip away even when grabbed. On the other hand, some people “starch” the belts so they can stay stiff and be grabbed that way to avoid the slip, same principle overall. I’d try one of those solutions before putting this tacky protrusion into my car, it doesn’t “look OEM,” it just looks tolerable considering how well it works and that’s it. I’m happy this product exists as a last resort though, can’t stand the 3D printed look through if I can help it
So are you saying the solution is to steam the seat belt? The entire belt or just the section near the grabber arm? I might try this instead because that 3D printed plastic thing is tachy as hell. Not putting that in my M3
@@LucciOWideally the whole seatbelt, but I suppose if you only steam the general area that might work. Also I’ve learned that in rare cases, the end of the extender gets a little worn & floppy, but 99% of the time it’s the belt quality. If you wanna go overkill you just get new seatbelt webbing
This is 100% your brand or you co own it. Nothing wrong with that, but wish you were more honest the first time around when I asked if this was your product 😂. PS: you should lower the price a lil bit ;)
Doesn‘t work for my F32 BMW. Only if I put a little bit pressure at the extender so it stays in the position. Otherwise it‘s going a little bit down and so it won‘t catch the belt. Someone has a solution?
Ive been trying to fix mine for weekd, what a stupid original design it was from bmw, a tiny little piece of trim to pull a hefty taut seatbelt 8" forwards, no wonder it packed in, utter shite, this is a very good idea, im going to have to get a pair immediately !... cheers 🍻
You keep saying "it looks OEM" but it looks to me like a very cheaply produced 3d printed workaround (not a fix). The crosshatch patterns on the part and the whiskers at the edges look very cheap and not at all like something BMW would allow as "OEM". With some additional research I found what is supposed to be a true fix, haven't tried it but in principle it looks like a permanent fix that does in fact stay "OEM": ruclips.net/video/d8vqduGkEiA/видео.html
It’s a very case by case issue. even with the fix you sent up above and ironing/starching the seatbelt, they still miss a huge amount of times. the fix I reviewed in my video has worked 9.9 out of 10 catches and everyone buying it loves it so far! I’ll say it depends on your level of expertise. some people don’t have the knowledge, resources or time to try intricately fixing the mechanism. and even if they do, a lot of them still have the same issue as before. the product in this video is a guaranteed fix that takes 10 seconds and $30 so to alot of people it’s worth it. thank you for your input though brother!
"looks really OEM" "fits flush" Meanwhile the product : 3D printing lines and sticking out like a sore thumb, bound to be hit and snaged on by people and items being placed in the back seat.
never been snagged or bumped and I’ve had them on nearly a year. $30 to fix a painfully annoying issue is worth it for most peoples, but to each their own. thanks for the input!
what kind of over-selling, in your face, hype, hype, hype it up sales pitch, corporate based, you tube fodder is this? what happened to the millenial generation? gen x rules
Great fix for E92 owners!
feels good to have working extenders! such a cool feature man 💯
I fixed mine by taping the seatbelt all the way forward at the bottom of the little guide rail thing that the seatbelt is connected to.
My tape ended up coming undone due to heat, so I used a zip tie, anything to hold the seat belt all the way up towards front of car on guide rail that sest belt is connected too. Foam tubing will work as well.

I would rather have my "seat belt arm" not functioning, than putting than thing in my car

Cry about it
Shape is slightly different on F32 so not a perfect fit which was disappointing, but does work functionally. Made for E92
I'm assuming this work on a F82 M4 too?
"...I'm not gonna editing this video at all..."
Shows us a video with hard cuts every 3 seconds...you are priceless
hahahahah true

Gonna to try this fix to the annoying issue
It’s worked for hundreds of people including me 🔥

Someone has a solution?
Would this work for a 2014 428i?

This is the most obviously paid for testimonial of all time.
not paid for! legit a genuine product that fixed 4 years of annoyance ahaha
I replaced my seat belts with new belts and the arm grabs it every time, its the belt not the arm..
is this compatible with F32?
the F32 model will be out soon from what they told me
Fuck Yeah thanks for the idea, i hope they still sell theese
They do!
@@IzzyE9XWhere can I get them? Do ship to Mexico?
Or u can just pull the fuse and not use them at all
You must be kidding me. I thought you'd show me how to fix it in minutes without ordering a new part. Where's duck tape and WD40?
Thx
Good~
It didn't work on mine
Why didn’t it work?
Great fix. Until a passenger gets in the back and catches it on their belt & rips it off.
Did y’all LOOK AT THAT!??

But, what about the chrome? LOL
I agree, but still worth it to forgo the chrome for a 100% working extender.
Amazon offers a silver one
Brother your Dash trim Carbon wrap close to the Key it’s literally peeling off. 😶🫥
stay tuned for a video I’m dropping soon and this will no longer be an issue 😉

Its not a fix. Its a mod.
There is a fix where you dont need additional stick on things.
