    How do you attach the cable tie to the harness?

    I used double sided fabric tape from target instead and it worked

      Is it not sticky on both sides so when wearing the belt

    • @alexandermilleriii499
      @alexandermilleriii499 4 месяца назад +1

      @@luke-xn6fs No because it's thin enough to cover just the zip tie itself. I cut using scissors

    I don't know how to sew/stitch. How many times did you wrap around the holes? I would assume 2 times is reasonable..
    Is there an alternative to sewing?

    Really clever fix! I have the same problem. But what I don't understand is why this started to happen. Never had problems and now the arm always fails. Do the seat belts just loosen over time??

    • @zureai
      @zureai Год назад +2

      Yes. They aren’t as strong as before. They turn flimsy so the arm doesn’t really catch the seat belt

    What length is cable tie 8 or 11 inch?

    Wondering if super gluing a small piece of zip tip to the edge will work the same…..

    will this distance work for any model?

    • @martine737
      @martine737  3 года назад +1

      Pause the video at 01:46:00
      The bottom of the cable tie is 2cm from the end of the extender hook range. I would suggest you are looking to copy that measurement.

    That's really nice idea!!! When you get the seat belt on, can you feel the strip on your body? It just my guess, but if you wearing it for a long time it could get a little rush on your body?

      Thank you for your positive feedback. No, when the seat belt is fastened, the cable tie is positioned on the outside of the seat belt facing away from the body.
