Nice video. Good to see the ball flight was good. Most radar units on the range should be able seeing a long ball flight. It's nice to be able to see video after. This would be great during a round of golf. Shots that you don't hit great can go back and look. But that subscription for a terrible golf sim always needs to be addressed.

I (and most people) do the same here in Sweden where I live where we use metric. Basically mph is the unit that everyone talks about regarding swing and ball speed, so it just makes sense to use it for comparison. Golf courses and ranges here are measured in metric though so it's much easier to use that when practicing as well.
Did you have any problem with your Apex height? My first 20 minutes showed my pitching wedge flying about 100 feet higher than in reality. Also, how did you get the yellow box to be so prominent mine continue to be fairly thin? Thank you.

The other question I have is did you have the Wi-Fi connectivity problems that everyone else online seems to be having I cannot get mine to connect to my home Wi-Fi or my club Wi-Fi
@@BlckBer123 connecting to the direct wifi seems to give a lot of other people a much better experience. For me I’ve never had an issue, feel like I got a golden egg to be honest
"Garmin ambassador" well, that explains the Mevo Plus bashing. But I'm curious why you use mph for ball speed but meters for distance. For a dumb Yankee like me it's confusing. 😂
The mevo+ is such a superior product to both the garmin and this mlm2 it’s pretty absurd to even compare em, but you do need a ton of space for trackman accurate numbers, but for 700 bucks this mlm is super cool
I personally didn’t get along with the Mevo+ too much room required indoors but they’re a good unit. And in relation to Meters and MPH every Aussie golfer does that, we’re a confusing bunch
Australia and NZ use the metric system so all our distances are in meters on the golf course. But MPH is the commonly recognised measurement for clubhead and ball speed. Besides, clubhead speed of 184kmh just sounds screwy! 😂
@@davidmaxfieldgolf 2 years with Mevo Plus (7' unit to screen - 10' ball to screen. Avg 165 driver BS) & I couldn't be happier with the purchase. IMHO, the Rapsodo at that $500-$700 price point is the real deal though. Also, I watched your 2-man scramble video yesterday & what a blessed life to play a round so close to home that your children can say hi when you drive past. That's special man! 💯
Hey, will ball shape change if you dont have premium membership? Because it wont show spin without membership but will it use spin to calculate the shape of the ball flight correctly?
Short swing is probably due to how tall he is. I would imagine it feels easier to stay in posture when you're so hunched over the ball from being tall with a short swing.

@@davidmaxfieldgolf I believe so it was just on the grass behind me on the range I tried to put my yardage book underneath thinking maybe the unit was a few inches below the grass where the ball was actually sitting and that didn’t make much of a difference. I’ll try to go to a different area of the range tomorrow and I have another chance to mess around with it. My time is limited this morning. The other question I have is did you have the Wi-Fi connectivity problems that everyone else online seems to be having I cannot get mine to connect to my home Wi-Fi or my club Wi-Fi
@@davidmaxfieldgolf by the way, thanks so much for answering these questions so fast appreciate your help from the other side of the world
@@BlckBer123 connecting to the direct wifi seems to give a lot of other people a much better experience. For me I’ve never had an issue, feel like I got a golden egg to be honest
@@BlckBer123 no worries Blake 👍🏼
Which is better Garmin r10 or this? Does this have path? Thanks
Not yet but I’m assuming it will have club path added soon. I’ll be doing a final verdict Video to sum up who’s better 😁
Doesn’t do spin ? Without the ball
Nope 👎🏼
Great videos. Keep up the good work!
Thank you 😊
"Garmin ambassador" well, that explains the Mevo Plus bashing.
I tried the R10 but spin axis (for me) was comically wrong on nearly every shot. I'm sure they'll fix that if they haven't already.
If you use awesome golf you’ll get a spin est. 😁
@@davidmaxfieldgolf would be interesting if the shape is still accurate there.
@@timmiFTW was definitely accurate to every shot that I hit on the range. The tracer makes a big difference
Keep up the great videos!
Thank you 😊 plenty more coming
Why do those clubs look so small for him??
Because they are 🤣 they’re interim clubs
Great Review....
Thank you 😊
@@davidmaxfieldgolf Did you find that it is still overheating out on the range?
Dave, your swing is looking really short…. It seems shorter than I’ve seen in the past.
Efficient swing like Rahm!
Working on it, prob shouldn’t be that short
Short swing is probably due to how tall he is. I would imagine it feels easier to stay in posture when you're so hunched over the ball from being tall with a short swing.
Short swing, long …. 😉
😂😂😂
You still have the sticker on your hat.
Yes, you don’t take those off 😁 that’s the authenticity
@@davidmaxfieldgolf What does that mean? It authentically looks like you forgot to take a sticker off.
U 7ft tall or you using junior clubs 😅
I notice that too. Dave’s shaft length seems very short. Are they standard shaft length?
All standards, these are interim clubs. I have more coming
They had some stock available today but it lasted less than 10 seconds and unless you had software running to snag one immediately you were shut out, they can get fucked. I’ll get a Garmin. I’m not going to support a company that doesn’t protect the average person and allows scalpers to do that on their site.
Got that right I was in my cart ! in 15 seconds knocked me out! What's with that?
Sorry, you missed out this morning. The demand has been incredible and only 1 was available to purchase per user. We will have more available soon so be on the lookout.
@@Rapsodo how can it happen in 30 seconds when I was in my cart? You can't enter info, address, card#, etc in thirty seconds .! Nobody can type that fast!!!
@@Rapsodo prelude: sorry social media person, I know you don’t call the shots with inventory and availability.
I was already on the fence about getting one because of reviews I’ve seen, so you only had one chance and you pretty much fucked it. It is not possible to enter all of that information in less than 30 seconds which is all it took for your stock to be depleted. Y’all are quick to respond on social media when someone is talking bad about the device but when a potential customer emails with questions it took 4 days to get a response and the response didn’t even answer half of my questions. $200 a year for spin data and you HAVE to use the RPT ball that you only get 3 of and can’t seem to buy anywhere? I was already convinced the Garmin was the better unit now I’m certain it is. Y’all let scalping software chase off customers. They are all over eBay for $1200 already. You need to lock that shit down. What a joke.
I got one today and I didn’t use any software. Gotta be quicker if you want to beat everyone else that’s excited for the mlm2
