My USAF Liaison when I was in TacOps for 2nd BDE, 1st ID back in 1993/94 was an F-111 driver that was grounded.....can't remember why beyond it was something medical. He was one of the drivers that went into Libya. Being in Ops we had clearance, so dude felt it was fine to give us a full lesson on the F-111 and every piece of ordnance it could carry. It bums me out that because of how the game is played, this airframe is kinda crap. IRL, it was very impressive. IF I remember the story right, and please feel free to call BS on me because it's been over 30 years at this point...they launched from Mountain Home and flew all the way to Libya, dropped their ordnance, and flew all the way back. I'm an interstate truck driver now...I can't imagine being in the saddle that long. Even with 2 guys. Nevermind a bunch of in-air refuelling.
Definitely the 111C would be welcomed, but Tec, if not premium, then where would it go? Maybe aftet the Buccee to push britian into the supersonic bomber area but idk where else other than that
I think it should go to the US, because, well we are the ones who gave them that aircraft and it has no relation to the British. If fine with Australian made aircraft going to the British, but putting US aircraft in Britain because they used to own that country is dumb
@@T95man well the opposite is true already, there are britsh planes from countries that arent in the game in different tech trees. Such as the Hunter F.58, a british aircraft for the Swiss... in the GERMAN tree..

Hopefully a lot more commonwealth aircraft can come in the future and in the researchable tree not as event or preems. That’s probably what will need to happen, there’s literally nothing after the typhoon and that probably won’t come for a while. they probably won’t add a specific sub tree, I mean there are so many aircraft that could be added, they will probably just scatter commonwealth vehicles around the existing uk tree to fill gaps. F111a is pain right now. It cant make it to any of the bases before any other aircraft with afterburners. I only carry 13x 750lb bombs, the Vulcan and 2x aim9b's. Full wing sweep and still slow as all hell. Also the reticle in 3rd person doesn't line up with the gun at all. Its a monster turn fighter but good luck getting a nice 1v1 dogfight.
