- Fallout New Vegas turns 10 this year, and many people are revisiting this last gen classic. Here's a little helpful guide for something that I know all of you are going to try!
Things you'll need: Speech check + 1 Stealth-Boy
Text guide: QUICK-SAVE FIRST!
1. Pop a Stealth-Boy. (One can be found inside the vault)
2. Walk over behind the tesla coil thing on the right side when exiting the vault.
3. Sit down and wait for Father Elijah to walk down towards the vault.
4. Go around cover so that you're on the opposite side of Elijah, he can be very perceptive, even if you have high sneak and a stealth-boy.
5. Wait for him to walk up to the vault terminal.
6. Time to get out! Get up and slowly walk to the elevator before the blue barriers appear.
7. You will be spotted by Father Elijah eventually, so get through the barriers ASAP.
8. Once the blue barriers go up, walk towards the elevator.
9. Father Elijah can't follow you through the barriers, so... bye felicia!
10. Enjoy your 37 gold bars, and have fun walking your fat-ass back to the Lucky 38!

Fallout: New Vegas is a post-apocalyptic action role-playing video game developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Bethesda Softworks. It was announced in April 2009 and released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 on October 19, 2010. A spin-off of the Fallout series, the game is set in a post-apocalyptic open world environment that encompasses a region consisting of Arizona, California, and Nevada. It is set in a world that deviated onto an alternate timeline thanks to Atomic Age technology, which eventually led to a global nuclear apocalypse in the year 2077 in an event referred to as "The Great War", caused by a major conflict between the U.S. and China over natural resources. The main story of New Vegas takes place in the year 2281, four years after the events of Fallout 3 and 204 years after the bombs fell. It is not a direct sequel, but does mark the return of several elements found in Fallout 2. - Игры

Loot laundering is an old trick I first picked up in Morrowind ages ago. Find a vendor with a bunch of stuff. Sell them a super expensive item after buying all their stuff. go sell the new stuff somewhere else. Repeat until you have the stuff you want and/or tons of money lying around.
How to get all the gold bars:
1. Follow all of the steps to this video
2. Once you arrive outside of the bos bunker, go to camp forlorn hope or nelson depending on your faction and use the foot lockers there to store the gold
4. put all your other loot in a seperate footlocker
5. get all the gold bars you can at a time and sell them to:
Vendor at gun runners ( 3 days waiting time or less he'll have more caps)
Arms Merchant - 1 gold bar
6. get caps

Okay so here's something I found out through testing
With the assassin suit and 100 sneak AND the stealth boy he can still 'see' you and fail the option to sneak past him.
Here's the thing after I made myself permanently hidden through console commands the sneak still failed when I didn't wait for him to go to the terminal.
I think the stealth quest is triggered to fail if you touch the stairs before he logs unto the terminal. So its not only a stealth test but one of also patience

The gold bars are more of a trophy than anything else. With the pre-war money and complimentary voucher you can get from the casino, you'll be set until the end of the game on weapons and supplies anyway.
The other trick if the blue barriers went up already is to drop all the gold bars by the further barrier. They glitch through the barrier and when you make it to the other side you can pick them up.
Now time to bankrupt every single vendor in the wastland trying to offload the gold
Throw down some landmines (You should have collected a few) before you leave around the main platform area (where you hide). He won't trigger them, but when you leave, and he becomes hostile, he'll eventually run outside and into them
If you have a Turbo in your inventory. Save it for this moment. When Elijah reached the terminal, I used a Turbo to make it through the open door with all the gold with time to spare. When far too often I had to restart a save.
The stealth boy in the vault has only ever spawned for me once. Usually, if I get a stealth boy at all, it's from one of Dean's caches. There was one time I got lucky and got like 6 stealth boys though.

I'm glad that the lesson hit me like a truck when I first played this, but doing this would have been so much more in line with the character I was playing when I did this DLC the first time.

Thank you for reminding me that I was given a stealth boy in the casino somewhere omg. I did not want to spend 4 hours trying to kill Elijah at the door then running around the path backwards only to find out the trick didn't work like last time.
Holy shit, I'm so happy, you put big iron in, cause I expected it to be the audio and I was surprised I was right and the version rocks.
When i do that i have invisble Wall and i needed to clip tru it
enable cheats and cry for six hours
@@VenomApollyon lmao
@Facepalm Full O' Napalm i have copy myself to courier pipboy and hack hologram system
Truth is Elijah, the game was rigged from the start...
This helped me a lot I’m liking and subscribing thank you
I pulled this off similar to your tactic but I just left the same way that you came in, instead of trying to take the short exit. If you take the long way around you’ll be out of sight by the time Elijah arrives and *should* be able to just walk out.
The easy part is making it there, the hard part is finding a vendor that has enough caps to sell them in less than an in-game month
Bruh that beat slap new vegas is the best fallout not frontier tho wtf 😂
This will be terrible for the ncr economy
Thank you. I tried so many times but could never get him in the vault. I appreciate that walkthrough
Thanks mate, this strategy worked wonders for me!
Thank you for this, i had to do this so many times
I am very late to the party so wasn't fully prepared, managed to do it cuz of this vid because it actually gave tips instead of just gameplay. I didn't have the stealth boy, but my sneak was already 100 due to starting the dlc at level 41, and I had the assassin suit on and popped a sneak magazine, gave me +20. No clue if any had a a factor or the advice but either way, this helped
