- What a wild adventure! Turkey hunting in Florida for the most prized subspecies of wild turkey - the Osceola. They're only found in the peninsula of Florida, and are considered one of the hardest turkey to hunt. Especially on public land. Opening weekend started with a bang!

Brilliant sunlight streams through the forest canopy.
Alive with the winds sing.
Alive with autumn colors.
Alive with God's good morning,
The woodland beckons me to walk.
In a grassy clearing by ancient trees, Suddenly, with large, startled eyes a deer turns and sees me.
With a shake of antlers, with a flash of White tail, with a rustle of leaves he is gone.
And I remaining, standing in awe of creation.

Bug spray question please: When you applied the bug spray to the clothing, later on did you have to apply bug spray to all your exposed skin , or is just applying to the clothing, good enough ? Thank you

Michigan has an apprentice hunting tag, but you wouldn't qualify as it's for first time hunters looking to get into hunting and learning from someone who has hunted before.

Awesome job good setup thanks for sharing. Im unfortunately in New York state. But will be hunting turkey in May. Can't wait. Moveing to lauisianna in three years when our autistic son finish high-school here, he can't handle change very well so we will let him finish then outta New York. Turkey hunting has been good here over the years. Now time to move on and try different hunting lands down south.
