My wife and I received 2 crystal bowls as a wedding gift that were hand cut by a friend of mine from the UK. He was also a master Craftsman. Sadly, he passed away in 2019.
This type of artistry would take decades to master, seeing such a young person doing this speaks to how early in life he must have started doing this. I think I'm too much of a perfectionist to do this for a long period of time and not suffer from the stress of such work. My perfectionism slows me down far too much. I wish I had this kind of talent though, then perhaps I wouldn't be such a perfectionist in all of my actions. Then again confidence also plays a powerful level in this kind of work so as more and more experience is acquired the better and faster you'd get.

Glass is transparent and gives a sense of nature at the same time as artificial. There are glass crafts all over the world, but the ones in Japan are quite good.
I've worked with glass, from making stained glass windows to making terrariums and sand blasting pieces. Word of advise, when you do this, wear a proper face mask. I suffer now as a consequence of my artistry, and seeing as you're such a young man, take precautions to guard your health.
There is no way I could actually use it to drink from, it is a work of art and I would have to place in a glass case just to look at it and keep it safe!
