Jordan is very intelligent. In order to understand a principle you have to listen at least 4-5 min. If he is interrupted every 30 seconds..... you don't get shit.
I'm amazed bringing these two powers of utter internet destruction so close to each other didn't result in them collapsing in on themselves and forming a black hole of destruction... of all leftist ideology.
Joe Rogan brought me Jordan Peterson. Jordan Peterson brought me Ben Shapiro. Ben Shapiro brought me my new mattress. My long journey for a legitimate good nights rest is at hand.
Christopher Picarello Which makes it all the more heinous that these two aren't working on providing free, sustainable power to those in need, quite frankly.
Tornado Chaser lol why should we benefit of off the product of their labor? I mean what gives us the right? And btw his wife is a doctor. Not related but I wanted you to know
Christopher Picarello Not us, I'm talking about people in need. These guys are always talking about helping people. It's not like they'd have to take time out of their lives, I'm sure something could be arranged for when they're sleeping, any power generated by dreams should suffice. And yes, I know Ben's wife is a doctor! Y'know, one of these days, I'd like her to be revealed as a lawyer or something, just to see the giant scandal. It would be interesting to see Ben discuss his own scandalous affairs, and view how he'd react. I wonder if he'd deny knowing her true occupation.
Alex Rodriguez I suppose the term 'a lot' is quite subjective, isn't it? It could mean there is a small lot of us or big lot of us. Also, it would be realitive to what I'm comparing it to. It's really very vague. Have you surveyed RUclips users to guage how many female JP fans exist or do you know of some stats you can point me to? I'm genuinely interested. I'm not trying to suggest that most or even a quarter of JP's fan base is female but in the context of his millions of followers and certainly compared to the media's representation that his following is all young men, there are a lot of us. That said, I'm obliged to consede that my description was ambiguous. Barring data I'm not aware of, we're all kinda guessing based on our personal observations and what little JP has said on the subject, aren't we? Nonetheless, point taken. How's this: there are a lot more of us than the media likes to believe...? Is that a more agreeable way to phrase my opinion?
+BakedBella No surprize that Jordan Peterson is attracting female fans; thank god there are still a lot of woman around who prefer their men have balls;
It’s honestly so cool that Ben just shuts up and listens to Peterson like a student in a classroom. Only truly intelligent people know they know nothing.
Mr. Caligos - he knows pretty much, but intelligent people know that there's is still plenty more they don't know. Compared to some conceited ass of person that stopped learning when they finished school. They got their paper and their 'status' and they basically stopped thinking. Ego takes over completely. Which means they begin to forget what little they know, start to say stupid things. They think they are super smart, ascribing delusional high status to themselves and they never listen properly to anyone especially those with less 'status.' They do not know what they do not know, there's no humility, and the rift between Ego and reality only becomes bigger over time. It's a tragedy because every human life is a valuable potential.
I saw a lot of comments on downing Ben for the ads. Call me cheap, but I've been listening to daily wire for a looong time and never paid a penny. The man earns his pay and whatever let's him do his thing, I'm all for it
People who complain can pay. I pay for daily-wire and CRTV. Its 10 bucks, I want a high quality show with real guests, not some budget show, with guests from the third tier.
Pewpewlazer. No, I subscribe on their sites, and get it live. I am european, it is not aired on TV here. Our cable-service wont even give us fox. Only CNN and MSNBC. We are forced to pay for conservative content.
Here’s an opinion: Ben promoting his sponsors is not as annoying as many RUclips commenters make it out to be, especially since 1.) you’re watching these full length videos for F-R-E-E on RUclips 2.) you can fast forward through them if they really bug you (I know skipping through RUclips videos is an immensely difficult concept for some) 3.) Sponsors pay for the staff and the production, both of which I quite like. I mean, look at those heat lamps. 4.) YOU’RE GETTING THIS CONTENT FOR FREE ON RUclips
NO they are not so so intelligent people....but they are just like us NORMAL people who knows what is right and wrong, true or false, imagination, Capricho, lunacy, stupidity, etc...just to put it in a proper context. But kudos to them they're smart and brave to defend what is normal, right and true.
The Amazing Lucas The Jewish stereotype is alive and well. I stopped watching the Shapiro show because he's quadruple dipping and his commercials are too long. I was shocked to see this idiot perform a commercial right in front of a Jordan Peterson interview... Fuck. In case you don't know what I mean by quadruple dipping... He has Patreon, he has a pay wall to see the second half of his show with video, and he has 2 kinds of commercials... Personal sponsors that he plugs during his video, and additionally the normal RUclips ad revenue from RUclips's ads. It's totally ridiculous.
The Amazing Lucas ?? It's not "dedication" to sponsors. They sponsor his shows *(i.e. they give him money)* and in turn he gives them a shout out -- that's the legal agreement?? Or maybe you don't want to see his shows anymore when he can't afford to make them?...
I saw Jordan Peterson last night in Chicago and it was the greatest event I've ever attended. He let us know that this interview with Ben Shapiro will be posted today and he said this was the best anyone has ever interviewed him, can't wait to listen!
I'm going to go see Dr JBP tonight in Detroit! Needless to say, I'm pretty excited 😄 He has made such a positive impact to me and so many other individuals, I am thrilled to be able to show my support and see him speak in person! I can't get enough of Ben Shapiro either, and I will be regularly watching his Sunday specials now 👍
Saw him May 4th in DC. Awesome show!! It was great to meet him, such a nice and humble guy. I posted video of the VIP Q and A after the show. I was so I awe for the first 5 mins, and was like wait I should record this. Lol
ruclips.net/video/4TqASNJEOLs/видео.html This is a 2 part video. Jordan also elaborates further on his meaning of Truth in relation to his conversation with Sam Harris. Part 2 he talks about Psychedelics.
Higher IQ and psychic abilities? These guys are truly amazing. I thought I just shot a laser from my eye, but I think I accidentally looked at the sun. It happens. I'll let you know if any other powers manifest.
Thank you Jordan Peterson. Just thank you as a 21 year old young man trying not to be angry at everything and thank you Ben Shapiro for helping me become more analytical.
Luke Billi Anyone else having a hard time understanding Peterson on an intellectual level? I know he's intelligent but I feel like he overcomplicates his thoughts just to reassure us that he's intelligent. I can grasp a lot of what he's saying but then he'll drone on and start using multiple complex words strung together. I'll be honest, I can't assemble it all properly in my head before he's already on to the next thought. I don't know if this is an intellectual way of showing off, or maybe I just need to read more and learn more words. I don't consider myself to be a dummy but some of this discussion makes me feel like one lol.
Bmetalful I totally get what you're saying but in his case I think, from viewing many of his speeches, that he's using the best words that precisely explain what he means as a way to be careful. Even if the words are at another analytical level he's covering himself as in today's time you have the media extracting even a small bit of what you may say and misconstrue it. In some ways it's actually good because it makes you think about what these words mean and as you go deeper it allows you to further understand the deeper meaning in the thought that he's bringing about.
Bmetalful He is condensing years of research. Read maps of meaning for a more understandable take. You can also see his citations and better form criticisms and affirmations of the theories he presents. After reading it this discussion has much more to offer since you know what to focus on, what’s new, and how it relates to the context it’s presented in.
Watch it multiple times until it becomes second nature. I used to have to pause and look up definitions all the time. I used to have to constantly look up "archetypal" to understand what he's saying. Don't get discouraged, you can learn more than just what he's saying....you can learn vocabulary.
I'm a Mexican American man that finds Jordan Peterson as an intelligent well spoken man. what he says is what a lot of men need to hear. It's sad how people bash this man for only speaking good and truth. It's not just white males but all races need to be colorblind when listening to this guy speak because race doesn't matter. People's morals and values do.
MacGyverman Sensitive people take listening to ideas/subjects too personally, kind of like if you say Blacks cause 50% of crimes, some people think you're Hitler for saying that even though it true. Race is a sensitive subject which liberals expect you by default to NEVER mention or you'll be considered racists.
Ivan Garcia, that isnt exactly true. The regressive left only calls you a racist when you bring up race if you bring it up in a way that doesnt line up with their doctrine. The bring up race regularly and anyone that calls them racists for the lefts very racists claims gets called an alt right nazi

It's hard to find a peer to talk to when you're at the level of competence and/or innate talent (IQ, creativity, charisma, etc.) that Ben / Jordan's at (That's not arrogant, it really is like that. People who aren't your peers or above you will understand less or none of what you're saying). I really like these hyper-intellectual discussions with erudite peers having an open & respectful exchange of ideas.
The way he stares into the ether makes me think he is recalling notes or is recalling references; Like he is reading from notes on the back of his hand; I would give my left nut to possess a memory as good as his; He has as good a grasp of his subject as Christopher Hitchens did;

They’re Great but the west is too far gone… People just don’t want to admit it and/or want to see it. Germanic and Swedish will likely be the first European ethnicities to become a minority in their own homeland.

Jamie Jones No, I need some time to mull and integrate. But we definitely need a series of Shapiro interviews with Peterson to clarify underlying realities before converting into new government policy changes that will hopefully fix our bumbling attempts at steering our culture by adulterating our children’s educations and citizens’ lives thru past bad government policies implemented with NO test of consequences, just doubled down with copious amounts of money to extend the programs & do even greater harm.

Always a pleasure to listen to Dr. Peterson. I am a woman from India and not a mainland Indian at that, meaning a minority. His followers are not just white men. I am not angry at the world by the way. I am a happy Mizo, mother of two kids, living a normal contented life in Bangalore 😃 I think Mr. Peterson is one of the most important thinkers of our time. I thank God for him for he articulates things I knew and felt to be true in ways I could not have done it. He gives his followers clarity and what to value truely in life. He is a Dad most never had.

I am a Mizo, from Mizoram - one of the seven sister states of the NE India, Mizoram is the second most literate state in India. But it is a small state, and has the 2nd lowest population density among the states in India. But, I live in Bangalore though & have been living in South India for most of my life now.
You should also take a look at Thomas Sowell.. he's an Economist and Social Theorist but he's brilliant like Jordan Peterson... he's another amazing interviewee.. If they could put Jordan and Thomas in a room together it would be Fascinating... we'd just sit back watching in amazement at the collective intellect that was being laid down..

Amazing to think that if Bill C16 wasn't a thing then the world may never have been introduced to this man. We thank the Canadian government for it's stupidity.
Ben keeps bringing me back to more Fundemental conservative views... Even though the media perpetually tries to pull me towards the left, Ben's logic just tears it all to Pieces.
or when my dad's (who was a cpa) coworker came over and they were talking about their business and workplace issues, or how to use excel efficiently. It's scary
I think Ben was wanting to see all along if there is anything incompatible in Peterson's approach and his. Ben has a very well-defined world view, while Peterson's approach is far more fluid and general. But, they may be compatible over all.
Ben certainly cannot agree with what peterson says when he says the individual should be sovereign. He has to follow strict rules in a sub-culture collective. That's where they diverge
I am from the UK, I would like to point out to the BBC that this is what a real Conversation Looks, Sounds, and even Feels like... So much Knowledge and Wisdom in just One Hour... BBC take note and Learn you A-Holes...
True that BBC is not that bad as most of the other TV channels but its quality is poorer than its quality 20+ years ago back. An example is the feynman interview they did
The BBC tries to be "all things to all people" as it were, but it's content is not worth the compulsory licence fee imo. Even the David Attenborough series, as soothing as they are, are formulaic and predictable. As he comes towards the end of his career Attenborough has finally begun to use his immense cache to speak out on climate change, habitat loss and species death and decline but too little, too late...the BBC is so politically correct and forever endeavouring not to be perceived as having an editorial stance coloured by any politically driven ideological agenda (under threat by successive Governments to take away it's licence) that it treats its audience as naive children instead of presenting programmes that deal with and reflect reality in all its diverse and often unpleasant manifestations, in a truthful way head on....everything has to be approached obliquely and with kid gloves...nobody is allowed to be offended or to be given the chance to be confronted and deal with uncomfortable or challenging truths or opinions, even in a safe TV studio environment...unless you count Question Time or other sound bite studio debates that are pointless, repetitive exercises in political evasion and diversion, political point scoring and playing to the gallery... fundamentally, its the sanitised, modern day equivalent of Roman Gladiatorial Battles and as fake as pro Wrestling. As much as I utterly reject Marxist and Fascist ideologies I want them to be given a platform to be discussed, debated, subjected to scrutiny, held to account and ultimately exposed by superior ideas, philosophies, ethics, axioms and logic. Unfortunately there is a huge amount of ignorance, both wilful and naive, amongst those possessed by these ideologies and the more cognitive dissonance they can be subjected to the better, preferably in the mainstream media as well on the internet. There is a lot of political fatigue, stress, frustration, fear and bad feeling over BREXIT in the UK but even if the circumstances aren't ideal, over the last two years the public has become more acclimated to engaging in political debate and been almost forced not only to make an initial ideological choice but also, hopefully in many cases, to re-evaluate that choice in light of new information and the unfolding, changing reality, or at least coming to a new realisation of its detrimental outcomes. Some have become more entrenched in spite of increasing evidence which proves that leaving the EU and the single market will be very bad for the Economy and for the majority of the population, especially on WTO terms. It remains to be seen if the incompetence and ineptitude of the Conservative Government will eventually be punished at the next GE but the vision of a Radical Socialist Labour Party steering the nation through the likely very turbulent waters that lie ahead is not a happy thought and I sincerely hope that the anger, cynicism, energy and appetite for change that swept Corbyn to power in the Labour leadership challenge following the dumping of his insipid, bland and feeble predecessor, proves to be merely a case of a temporary, frustration driven, ideological shift to the far left that simply runs out of steam before it gets its hands on any real executive power. The damage they could potentially do not only to the Economy but to the Nation's statute books and to the Education System doesn't bear thinking about. I hope that the experience of engaging with and weighing up the facts and evidence relating to BREXIT and the terms of BREXIT will have sharpened up the electorates political and economic nous and critical thinking in sufficient numbers of those who would normally cast their vote for a more consensus based, slightly left of centre Labour party to realise the dangers and reject the current hard Socialist version If I've gone too far off topic I apologize but I do think it's incumbent upon those of those who share Jordan Peterson's justified antipathy towards the hard left ideologues to educate people just how dangerous and damaging a Corbyn led Labour party could potentially be if it were to be returned to power. These are very dangerous and uncertain times, the state of politics in Britain has probably never been as bad or in as perilous a position as it is in today, not even the Major Government was this weak. There is a very apparent lack of competence in Parliament and on the front and back benches of the oppostion and a complete absence of strong, decisive and wise leadership. If only we had politicians with the same level of scientific rigour, intellect, integrity, rhetorical power, conviction and drive as Peterson, Shapiro and Weinstein!
The Problem is, the regular citizen wouldn't understand shit. They only understand the typical trash talk mentality , that's why the media keeps doing it.
@Joey, not everyone contributes the same amount to benefit humanity. Shapiro and Peterson are truly gifted / fortunate / whatever you want to call it. But they could have both wasted their talents and turned out to be alcoholic, drug-addicted, bums. Instead, they have a lot of potential and they are choosing to apply most of it.
@@mystery_wu how doesn't it make sense? You made the claim that there's very basic areas or topics surrounding philosophy that Peterson does not understand. I'm making the claim that there are very intricate and deep topics of philosophy that he knows extreme amounts about.
@@DeltiBecker It's possible, but they are areas in which he is not expert in. He should keep talking about psychology and not adventure himself to far from it.
I love it when Jordan says, "I'm gonna need to think about that" or "I thought a long time about this." It's usually in those times I'm wracking my brain trying to figure out what exactly he's saying, so when he acknowledges that it took a long time for him to come to certain understandings, it makes me not feel so dumb.
A lot of his stuff becomes clearer on repeated listening. When it's all new, it's hard to take it all in. His lecture series in good in this regard, as it's paced at a speed for students to follow and take notes.
This is some real good stuff... I love how the Doctor always looks like he's piecing together some intricate and epic puzzle with his hands while he speaks. Pure Genius.
I love how Jordan uses his hand when explaining his thoughts, it makes you not only understand but also imagine along the ideas he's trying to express. A true professor right there...what a delight listening to this man.
I don't know how some people do NOT do stuff like that. I'm the only one I knew who's gesturing like that. Every time I start a discussion and using gestures the people get frightened because they think I'm angry. I hate it, because they don't want to talk with me because of it.
@@eurekamreum5458 now that is a brilliant thought...imagine them as the leaders of USA and Canada at something like the UN. That would be magnificent to witness.
I could watch Ben and Jordan talking like this for ages and never get tired. It's such a shame that shows have such limited times. There's much we all can learn with these encounters.
Is Sabbath Saturday or Sunday? As a Christian that goes to church on Sunday but still feel morally obligated to honor the Sabbath day, in all my research I can't seem to get a true answer to this question.
Andrew Ryan the Jewish sabbath is on Saturday but i don’t remember why church services are on Sunday. I guess us Christians are lazy and don’t feel like getting out of bed.
I really admired a person who says “this is stretching my thoughts out beyond where I been able to develop them”. That is what this interview done for me and one of the reasons why Dr. Peterson has such a following because he realizes he doesn’t know it all and he still working the puzzle wherever the pieces will take him. Unlike 100% of the leftist establishment who knows it all and call you the idiot who needs to be helped, even by force. Great interview, thanks Ben keep them coming.
I've listened to him for a few years now, to my disbelief, I think he's getting vastly smarter. God it feels good to have a colossus like this on the side of rationality.
Serge: yeah. But partly it might be also, that when you hear same material 2nd or 3rd time, you simply understand some deeper aspect of it than earlier times. His view on religion and God ... I think I am at "understand 20% of it" at the moment :-/ ... - compared to 0.1% 1 year ago. And yes: I am absolutely convinced he has a deeper reason why he says "depends what you mean with God", which many mock about him. I think I agree with his view but I wouldn't insist on using the word "God" for it.
@The Other Point Of View I see that as him giving credit to his sources. Everyone relies on those who came before them. I think part of his success is the ability to order and make sense of all the psychological research that came before him. That's how one creates an accurate far reaching world view - to assemble and annotate all the observations and experiences one has, including the ideas of others.
Serge... you are hilarious. First you claim Peterson (and I assume Shapiro) are "smart" when one rejects Christ and the other does not know whether he was the "son of God". Then (amazingly) within that context you mention the name of God as if it's His Blessing to have two men who deny Jesus as our "idols". You are just hysterically funny in your willful ignorance... and you don't have a clue. Good thing for you that ignorance is bliss. ------------------
You can see how excited Ben is here when even introducing Jordan - Ben knows his shit but he probably feels like a student in front of Jordan, which I’m sure we all would!
One thing that strikes me about this is that while the format starts out like so many others, in this interview some real constructive thinking starts to manifest. I got the impression, that Peterson actually got inspired by some of Shapiro's contributions and he immediately adapted them into his structure. This is a great demonstration how a conversation can actually create something that neither of the participants were possessing before. Aside of a conflict discourse, we should not forget, that this sympathetic discourse is actually possible between truthful people and i belief it would be worthwhile to tip the scale to that side more often. Props to Shapiro for leaving so much room in the interview for it to manifest.
This has been happening to me a lot since my ex and I started listening to JP. Now our conversations just keep going further down the rabbit hole and honestly, that male/female discourse explodes the conversation possibilities in ways I couldn't consider before. If you can get into it with another person (as opposed to just thinking about it in your head or throwing out the random RUclips comment that may or may not get any notice) I would highly recommend it.
As a Canadian, I am ashamed of the media and politicians in my country for not embracing JBP for the special greatness he possesses. Time will show their folly.
JBP is a world wide phenomenon supporting goodness. It is frustrating that Canadian media, (and the media of the west in general), fail to see it this way. Either they are too lazy to do any objective research on him and what he says or, more likely, they are mind vassals to leftist hegemony. The media need to clean up their rooms. :)

As a psychologist myself, I consider him as my mentor and personally, he literally saved my life and he doesn't even know it. His lectures brought me back from the brink of self-destruction and helped me get my act together. I'm still a long way from my ideal self, but as Mr. Peterson puts it, meaning is derived by reducing the discrepancy between the judge of the ideal and the real self. Meaning comes from responsibility. Also, my state is one of the rare ones that favor alt left ideologues and so I perfectly understand where the argument stands and how it is countered, and I completely agree with Mr. Peterson. The west is currently plagued with PC drama.
Hey, just for more information to understand your comment, which state are you talking about? I'm Indian too and the only alt left ideologue following state would be Kerala? Or are you talking about India as the 'state' because I'm pretty sure India is on the extreme right under modi government and not just conservative anymore

Not us, I'm talking about people in need.

Female JP fan here. There are a lot more of us than the media likes to believe. Pay attention corporate media.
BakedBella there aren't "a lot" its actually a small mimority. That's not a problem just dont act as if the number is bigger than it actually is.
Pretty sure Jordan has said many times that his audience is over 90% male.
Why are we giving her shit for saying that a lot of women also like Peterson? Its not the boy scout issue, its an intellectual thinker...

This is the first time Ben Shapiro feels like the student and not the master

The man earns his pay and whatever let's him do his thing, I'm all for it
I just skip those parts. But yes, the man needs to make a living
People who complain can pay. I pay for daily-wire and CRTV. Its 10 bucks, I want a high quality show with real guests, not some budget show, with guests from the third tier.
anti tube you pay for TV tho and that has way more ads tho right?
Pewpewlazer. No, I subscribe on their sites, and get it live. I am european, it is not aired on TV here. Our cable-service wont even give us fox. Only CNN and MSNBC. We are forced to pay for conservative content.
Pewpewlazer agree. We pay nothing to hear some quite great stuff from him. So I’m all for whatever let’s him do his thing.
Just laughing at the pansies here who can't stand a 30 second commercial for this priceless content. This Netflix generation is ridiculous,
Ernesto Berger ...just like grandma used to microwave...
exactly. They don't know the pain of 5 - 10 minutes of commercials every 15 minutes if this was on regular tv.
Remember when we paid for cable and watched ads for 30min every 1.5 hours!
It's even kind of entertaining in Ben's voice... But I just skip through. How hard is it really?
Two words: Howard Stern. It’s part of the attraction.
Here’s an opinion: Ben promoting his sponsors is not as annoying as many RUclips commenters make it out to be, especially since
1.) you’re watching these full length videos for F-R-E-E on RUclips
2.) you can fast forward through them if they really bug you (I know skipping through RUclips videos is an immensely difficult concept for some)
3.) Sponsors pay for the staff and the production, both of which I quite like. I mean, look at those heat lamps.
4.) YOU’RE GETTING THIS CONTENT FOR FREE ON RUclips
I prefer sponsors than tears over demonetization
Yes!
No ads if you subscribe to TDW.

NO they are not so so intelligent people....but they are just like us NORMAL people who knows what is right and wrong, true or false, imagination, Capricho, lunacy, stupidity, etc...just to put it in a proper context. But kudos to them they're smart and brave to defend what is normal, right and true.
Holy f**k, he said "but first" in an interview!!! The man is dedicated to his sponsors. Respect.
And that's why he is known as Ben "but first" Shapiro.
jews know who keep the lights on lol
Or maybe you don't want to see his shows anymore when he can't afford to make them?...
legend has it these were his first words as a baby

Hector Agosto Exactly what I think as well. Well captured! Have an amazing day, beautiful stranger!
Edd Said what the hell does color have to do with hearing?

It was fascinating to watch his body language when he debated Matt Dillahunty. Hunched over, submissive, a defeated pathetic man.

I've never seen Ben Shapiro so quiet.
he was just sorta in awe
I think Ben was wanting to see all along if there is anything incompatible in Peterson's approach and his.
Ben has a very well-defined world view, while Peterson's approach is far more fluid and general.
But, they may be compatible over all.
“Mmhmm...”
I think Ben Shapiro is a brilliant person, but even Ben is struck by the aura that surrounds JBP.
I hope that the experience of engaging with and weighing up the facts and evidence relating to BREXIT and the terms of BREXIT will have sharpened up the electorates political and economic nous and critical thinking in sufficient numbers of those who would normally cast their vote for a more consensus based, slightly left of centre Labour party to realise the dangers and reject the current hard Socialist version
If I've gone too far off topic I apologize but I do think it's incumbent upon those of those who share Jordan Peterson's justified antipathy towards the hard left ideologues to educate people just how dangerous and damaging a Corbyn led Labour party could potentially be if it were to be returned to power.
So What you're saying is, you hate the UK? So what you're saying is, you hate America? So you're saying is, this isn't a good interview technique?

@Joey, not everyone contributes the same amount to benefit humanity. Shapiro and Peterson are truly gifted / fortunate / whatever you want to call it. But they could have both wasted their talents and turned out to be alcoholic, drug-addicted, bums. Instead, they have a lot of potential and they are choosing to apply most of it.
I came here thinking Peterson was a psychologist, found out he is a heck of sociologist and philosopher too.
Philosopher to a certain point. I'm doing a bachelor degree in philosophy and there are many basic knowledge he doesn't know especially in ethics.
@@mystery_wu he understands concepts that supercede merely 'the basics' of philosophy.
@@DeltiBecker your sentence does not make any sense.
I would be completely fine with it being Jordan Peterson every Sunday
When I clicked on the video, I was hoping that was the case
I see no problem with this.
Geek Legion I like to think Peterson is letting his listeners in on his process; It makes his talks more intimate;
This is some real good stuff...

I love how Jordan uses his hand when explaining his thoughts, it makes you not only understand but also imagine along the ideas he's trying to express. A true professor right there...what a delight listening to this man.
I noticed even the camera operator followed his hands a couple of times🤣
I don't know how some people do NOT do stuff like that. I'm the only one I knew who's gesturing like that. Every time I start a discussion and using gestures the people get frightened because they think I'm angry. I hate it, because they don't want to talk with me because of it.
It’s amazing how articulate this man is, everything he says makes sense, which is harder than it sounds.
Now imagine talking with the Lord.
Thank God through our Lord Jesus Christ we can have a conversation with the true and living God.

Reminds me with the "Are you saying?" interview
This is how sensible people have a conversation. You can see the genuine respect and not two person trying to sink each other.
I've listened to him for a few years now, to my disbelief, I think he's getting vastly smarter. God it feels good to have a colossus like this on the side of rationality.
He is a very smart man, but you also need to keep in mind that he says things like, there's no art without religion, which is absolute nonsense
@@luiscaldeira3627 He probably laid out an argument for that conclusion. You haven't.

The dislikes are from the people who Peterson and Shapiro embarrassed.
My opinion of Ben Shapiro just went up by 1000%. I can see he is now purely rational and able to harness his intellect and emotion for good.
Props to Shapiro for leaving so much room in the interview for it to manifest.
ekard right on - it inspired JBP into the 48:18 moment, just glorious to watch the hero of heroes

JBP is a world wide phenomenon supporting goodness. It is frustrating that Canadian media, (and the media of the west in general), fail to see it this way. Either they are too lazy to do any objective research on him and what he says or, more likely, they are mind vassals to leftist hegemony.

Indian here living in southern India and I absolutely adore him. So no, angry young white males are not his only followers.
