I’m telling you I’ve watched this cinematic like 15 times today, partially because of watching lots of reactions. I’ve cried like every time!
I have never seen this streamer before, but she seems AMAZING! o, and I cried watching this. I cry watching most overwatch shorts though..

Fun trivia; In Japanese folklore, when someone is possessed by a Fox spirit (Kitsune), they will start craving sweet things. Hence all the donuts and if you look at the pictures when the mom is looking at a picture, you can see that the grandma also had box of donuts.
Why is the animation so flawlessly good? Because it comes from Blizzard ent. ^^

this animation for Kiriko is amazing tho it didn't bring a tear to my eye, one animation that did was "honor and glory" for Reinhart and that was also amazing

I disagree on this being the best. I love her personality and everyone (well apart from me as my Mum died when I was 17-18) can relate to the overprotective Mum.I have a issue with her powers but that is more a game thing as she seems to be better than other characters that share some of her powers ( better teleporter than Tracer , better healer than Mercy, ect) . Even thought I like her over all , Mei's and Reinhardt's are, for me at least, the best.
But hey, still a awesome short.
Tracer doesn't teleport, blinking is supposed to be more of a "time mechanic". Further I wouldn't necessarily say her ability beats blink once you factor in the charges and CD for blink. Reaper teleports though and hers is definitely better.
Its the best IMO because literally millions can relate to Kiriko's situation. But yes the animation is superb to say the least but that is sort of expected as Blizzard keeps getting better animators.
I just wished OW was owned by another company, Blizzard must be the worst next to EA in terms of game development return value, not to mention the countless sexual harassments reports in-office and employee explotation.

i do think is a nice animated.. but i dont think is at the level of honor and glory .. or dragons..i feel like this one is around soldier one
They have the foundation to make a movie series like the Avengers, but they want it to be a game series to contest with the movie industry. But seriously. That’s a MONUMENTAL task Blizzard. Cave in. Turn our dreams into a reality.
P:S Kirikos backstory is so much like my own its actually frightening.

I think this was a little bit stereotype (like a disney princess movie) and a little bit cringe but the animation quality was super high. Of course this is not the best ow short but it was good at total.

@@-Zinx- voice acting was not natural actually. And the texts was a bit cringe. (The mom - kiriko texts and the donuts especially.) I have no problem with fight scenes. I dont know maybe its cringe for me because im not Japanese.
