After just one minute I already heard enough BS. Hypoxia NEVER comes without signs, there are just idiots NOT listening to themselves. Be honest, pay attention, kill your ego and you’ll be safe.

I just started my freediving journey. On my third day of diving I got over ambitious along with having very bad technique on the first 5 meters.
I blacked out slightly at the surface. I promise I had no warning signs prior, felt totally fine and calm throughout the descent and ascent, not even a contraction or a huge urge to breathe.
In hindsight I know my mistakes but before starting my dive I thought my body would "know" when my limit was reached. But I in fact did not know or feel my limits

@ We’re you diving alone or with an instructor? A blackout after 5m plunge is very unusual. There is never “no warning signs”, but you must know what those signs are. You can only recognize what you already know. Guess what… one of the questions in the AIDA certification exam is “what are the signs of an imminent blackout?”!
