Love love love my top front, side and rear view cameras. Keeps my car off the curbs and parking blocks. Just wish i had a left/driver side down camera as i can't see right outside the door for curbs and low obstacles but there is a right. Also i would have loved to of gotten the backup/tilt down-side mirrors and electronic fold away side mirrors option.
I’m torn when it comes to cameras, electronics, and moving parts! They are cool to have but expensive to replace when they stop working. And the DO stop working lol. I’d be fine going back to my older cars with all manual parts and no cameras haha

Ive been buying my cars for 30 years and ive never kept one longer then 2 years.
I’ve never kept one longer than 2 years either-many of them less than 18 months. AND I’ve always made money on the sale. That’s why stay away from leasing. But that’s a different topic haha

Put an exhust on it, steering damper, zero gravity screen, no cut frame sliders, steel braided front lines. I’m sure you noticed already but I have the same lip and loved the look it gives the front. I put some jbweld in those 4 small mount points that connect the mid piece to the two outer pieces then set the screws in.
Don’t like the look of the engine cover. The typical 3m tape you find at Home Depot or Lowe’s is what I use. I don’t recall the weight, but it’ll be the strongest one you find on the shelf.
I am assuming you had enough room to reach inside and catch the nut to hold down while tightening the bolt. Thus far only person on you tube from what I found doing it the correct way. How is the lip holding up any issues.
Yes you can get to the nuts. Absolutely necessary! I’ve never heard of anyone attaching splitters with just self-rappers and tape until I became part of this community lol. Splitter is still doing fine. Scrape everyday leaving work and she’s still holding strong!

I actually just got a little piece of black plastic tube using it as a spacer. Cut it down to the right size, placed it between the splitter and the bumper and just ran another small bolt up through it.
Do you use a board to get car up and down on those rhino ramps? Mine barely gets up there now and its not lowered and doesn’t have a splitter. I’m assuming if I put on a splitter like yours rhino ramps won’t work anymore unless boards are used?

I suppose you could use rivets, but you need to distribute the force, so the washers are actually more important than the nut and bolt. A small rivet will just pull right through if you hit something.
I actually don’t have a diffuser recommendation. I got a great deal on mine, but I had to work on it a lot to get it to fit nicely so I would not recommend it.

Turbojugend Proper washing is important to not create swirls/cloudy finish. But I’ve always liked Maguiars quick detailer. I’ve used turtle wax black box with success on black cars. It’s a lot of work, but looks fantastic. The problem with this car is that Infiniti paint is so soft, it’s difficult to find anything that is really good with it. I’ll be trying out this chemical guys stuff very soon.

It looks like your splitter kicks up in the front. Is it the camera angle or just me? I specifically looked for that because I had an amazon special and it nosed up as well and I didn’t like it.
Depending on the angle really. Straight on it looks perfectly level. I’ve scraped a couple of times leaving very steep driveways so I think one side has a slight tilt now lol. The problem is the underside of the bumper is not level-has a slight slope. It’s all in how you mount it.
Exactly. The bumper noses up and there are those platforms on the splitter. I know the brand I got they weren’t angled enough to counter the bumper angle but didn’t know how these were. It doesn’t seem as bad to me on yours but you’re also lowered and raked down a little better than mine with stock suspension. Overall, yours does look better than mine did and it’s great to know the newer years will also fit our years.

I actually think I’m going to try and paint it to see how it looks. If it sucks then I’m going to just get the gloss black grill. Not confident in my wrapping skills for the contours and I’m not paying anyone $200 to do it when I can get a complete grill for $150!
That's what I'm talking about. The corners have a weird contour to them. Its probably not as hard as i'm thinking, but I just don't know if I want to lol.
@@SpeedCultureStudios I went through three of these. They are ABS and not urethane. These are the cheapo $45 lips but they look good! You did a good job on the install, I broke mine from driving in deep snow, hitting stuff, etc.

Yes it was lowered. It’ll be too low for ramps unless you use a board on approach but also don’t go all the way up

Might be slightly more durable but you have to be careful man lol. I’m lowered over 2 inches and have had this same splitter for almost 3 years

Thank you! It’s lowered on TEIN s tech springs for right now. Lowered about 1.25 inches all around.

What we’re all the screws and washers did you buy at Lowe’s?
Just bought some small bolts and fender washers and matching nuts. They can be whatever size you want basically. Just don’t go too small or too large.

You must not have used bolts. This thing is not coming off unless it gets ripped off.

@@SpeedCultureStudios I went through three of these. They are ABS and not urethane. These are the cheapo $45 lips but they look good! You did a good job on the install, I broke mine from driving in deep snow, hitting stuff, etc.
@@rchumsae deep snow will do it. Mine still holding strong. 2 years
