I think the reason why he uploads a lot in December is because in December, RUclips generates a lot more revenue. He usually takes a month off in January for this reason :)
In the next video - "What up dude bros, I'm Frank, this is a video review of this really cool looking blaster that uses weird brass shells and shoots really, really hard"
'To compare this blaster to others, I put it up on my chronograph. And with the included ammo this blaster is shooting WAY harder than the nerf elite standard of 70fps.'
This is like a godsend for cosplayers, I wish it was cheaper. I bet you could 3D print some extras cases in brass filament for some short action films.
For those curious, it's actually a very well done rendition of an M40A6, which is a 7.62x51 sniper weapon system used by the Marines. The Chassis looks close enough to the RACS, and the muzzle break looks great when you compare it to the original Surefire mount. A faux suppressor would really complete the look. The scope doesn't look a thing like the issued S&Bs, but I'll send someone some stuff if they buy this and put a Schmidt on it 😂
The shells were not intended for foam darts, but rather for gel balls. Because China banned gel blasters, they had to change from gel to dart. And there's a "non-shell ejecting" version with an electric magazine that only shoots gel balls.
The cock-on close action reminds me of my No4. Mk1 Enfield. I think your review underlines why that action type died out, and basically everything uses the Mauser action whether toy or real steel.
The thing perhaps most famous about the Lee-Enfield was its speed of operation, at the cost of power. You can't really get away with a rear locking bolt behind high pressure rifle rounds. If semi-autos hadn't been invented and already filled the small and intermediate caliber market, we'd probably still see lightweight bolt actions that operate this way. This toy just executes the concept poorly, see the mad minute for evidence that there's serious advantages to using something like a Lee-Enfield.
I own one too, I really like that action, however im not a big fan of that same action on other rifles. For example the m1917 enfield action seems harder to push in for me.
cool review, i hope Coop will try to review more shell ejecting foam blasters , because some of them are really great for plinking despite below average perfomance
Do be completely honest I'd probably use it for some videos on the future. Being super careful of course when I go to record out in the desert with it.
I've first come across your channel this year and have been really enjoying it. Personally as someone who mostly uses blasters for target shooting, I'd be very interested in seeing a section in your reviews related to measuring precision. While your firing demo and analysis sections often hint at a subjective measure of precision, I think it would be useful to also have a more objective measure of precision (whether that be a numerical measure of dispersion, a graph of shot placements, etc). Just wanted to share my thoughts, I'm not sure if this would do well with the RUclips algorithm or other members of the audience. Thanks for the great content. I'm looking forward to seeing what's in store for 2023.
Tbh everything should have an n strike barrel lug and tacticool rails, dart blasters, gel blasters, real guns, household utensils, animals, people, food, oxygen, everything
Sir after 7 years of knowing you as a content creator, I grew up and left the scene for a while not we’re all the kids we are deep down. All i can say is you’ve kept consistency and you made a great channel and model for other foam flingers
Chinese manufacturers have been making a lot of this sort of realistic looking blasters lately, for Chinese players who couldn’t get hold of real firearms but still want to. There is a big market there. They are designed almost exclusively for mimicking real firearms and not for nerf games. They are mainly sold on the Chinese platform Taobao, there are a lot of different realistic blasters like this there.
When the feature is well executed, a lot of people actually like cock-on-close bolt actions. The famously speedy Lee-Enfield does that. There's a lot of mechanical downsides to that system, generally forces you to use lower pressure ammo, but supposedly it's very comfortable to operate when you get used to it. But perhaps this thing's action is not so well executed; the bolt launching itself backward is certainly a strange quirk.
There’s a glock known as the FL-G01, not on Amazon but it’s a foreign made product and ejects shells with blowback or something idk how. Would wanna see someone review the quality of it
I am actually happy that you are reviewing the other prop/Non NERF/foam flinging "blasters" out there Coop, I enjoyed this. If you even do more in the future, I'll be glad to see it!
man its nice to see coop uploading more often some time back I was waiting for a upload to be posted but I had to wait quite some time anyway good to see another upload and please don't stop posting :)
7:10 I need to stop you there coop. There are indeed a number of bolt action rifles which cock themselves upon closing the action as opposed to opening it and do indeed attempt to throw their own bolts to the rear of their receivers when reopened while cocked - most notably the Lee Enfield series, but there have been others.
If you attach a laser pointer to the blasters we could see how accurate, or at least consistent, they shoot during the firing demo. As a plinker I'm all about the accuracy. Thank you for the great reviews, I always enjoy watching them even though I don't really fling foam all that much these days :)
Um i have a question, When i looked at this product on amazon, it had one two star bad review. I just have a feeling that it might be bad as the guy says it is in the reviews. What do you think, should i waste my money or just buy it because it looks cool. Idk it looks really cool to me. Sorry for the repetition.
Please reply, because this is by far the only nerf gun i would want to buy, because the other nerf guns look kinda trash, and has vert low performance. I like guns that look real. Well obviously i wouldn't bring outside.
I reminded me of the highend air produce in other countries that have a strict gun control. The bolt is accurate to some bolt action rifles I have one that is similar to the same action the primes on the forward action.
This looks like an M700 mixed with a DVL rifle :D this is cool. I should mention the side folder is a secondary safety system. You can't move the bolt at all and it will stay in battery the whole time to prevent any accidental movements
Honestly the only use for this would be for filming, a light weight prop the look and ejected shell could make for an epic shot if you repaint the shell and add smoke or dust inside the shell so when it ejects the powder is thrown, and finally edit in the sound of a metal shell
To be fair, cock on close is pretty common for older Mauser rifles, and it decocking when unlocking the bolt is something that does happen. Idk if that's what they were going for, but at least to me it makes sense as to why it works the way it does
"Florida man gets shot dead after shooting people with realistic amazon foam dart shell ejecting sniper rifle, The authority's are now wondering who should be sued"
I'd love something like this but looking like a ww1 Lee-Enfield or a Mauser. Maybe with standard or half darts and shells. Darn, we have basically no blasters with traditional or semipistol-grip stock configurations Btw, for anyone curious, that thing about the blaster un-priming if you don't rotate the action is similar to cock on close firearms like the Lee-Enfield itself and some Mausers (not the Gewehr and Kar 98 line). So it's kinda realistic compared to some bolt action rifles, tho the guns don't spring back to the rearmost position.
Some day coop is gonna review actual firearms in the same way of foam flinging blasters and i hope i live long enough to see it
He'll still say "Upfront, there is no N-strike barrel lug"😂

As someone who has watched you on and off since I was a little kid I think it be cool, and funny as hell to see you review real guns.
Actually a lot of old bolt guns (Mauser based), did compress the firing pin spring on the the forward motion of the bolt.
