Thanks for putting the time to show us how to fix this problem. I have many figures that has similar issues. I also have a hot toys body that has broken socket for the neck's ball joint. any ideas on how to fix that!

My Brand New Popeye just broke at the waist, it was totally my fault so I'll have to repair it using a new socket and ball joint and epoxy

I don’t think that thin bit of plastic you self tapped bolt to will last long if it is moved around much tho.
