    Prayers for you, your family & extended family. Our daddy had turned 50 almost a month prior to the initial surgery of a grade 4 Glio that was already about the size of a grapefruit on his right side. This was a long time ago before the wonderful clinical trials (some @ Duke have received cures) and I will pray that you are accepted & CURED to continue helping raise your children with your beautiful wife.

    You can do this! I beat melanoma that was in my lymph nodes. One thing that helped me was to always have a plan, even if it was just to go take a nap. You and your wife are such lovely people, make plans, knowing what the next steps are helped me.

    Brandon and Carrie we know God is in control! God is already using you both as a testimony to his faith! To know him like you do and rest in the fact that he is in control of your life is amazing and gives so much peace! We love you both more than I can express and are fighting this battle with you!

      Thanks, Sherry. The battle is so much easier when surrounded by prayer warriors and those who are willing to join hand-in-hand with you along the journey. We appreciate all that you, Jeff and your family have done, and continue to do, on our behalf. God bless you all!

    Greetings from Australia. Best of luck. I have had 3 craniotomy ops this year. I have grade 4 matastisticbrain tumors. My 3 bits of advice. You will and should sleep a lot! You will have neurological changes like memory, disorientation and mood changes. General anathetics and brain surgery is a tough gig but you will be ok post op. Let the oncologist guide you on any other treatment options. Sadly for me, I have a new tumor and no treatments are working. It is a shit of a thing brain cancer. All the best from down under guys! Msg me if you have any questions.. .I am about 3 months down the road from you.

    Hi guys, I am sorry for the diagnosis, I had a friend with glioblastoma so I know what you are going through. She always said that cannabis oil helped a lot... I wish you all the best with the treatment and keep my fingers crossed that you send it to a remission... I’ll be keeping track with your progress since this hits close to home.. sending you both lots of love.

      Did the cannabis oil help with nausea and vomiting, pain, both and how does one purchase this oil since it is not legal (including my state of Texas) in many states??

    • @marinatotduricic2087
      @marinatotduricic2087 Год назад +1

      @@pattidale7968 it helped with the pain, nausea and seizures.. basically quality of life was better and she could function in normal life better… i dont know if it had any effect on time in which the tumor returned, but she had 4 years gap between first time they found it and second time when it returned. It might had some role in that.. also try looking up the polio virus treatment for glioblastoma, that one is very promising.. i dont know in which phase the research is but few years back it was a trial on humans…

    Just heard he died last year survived 3 i think? as bad as it is to die pretty young you can't ask much more warning then a year, considering some people don't get any warning and die much younger.

    So are you IDH1 mutated/positive or wild type???

    • @lunatune3714
      @lunatune3714 5 лет назад

      Idh1...they mentioned it in the video.

    • @rosewink3299
      @rosewink3299 5 лет назад

      LunaTune correct but not if it was mutated, I hope it is for him because that basically slows things down in a way. Those with IDH1 mutation tend to live longer, as in their lifetime in some cases.

      @@rosewink3299 7:55 He said mutation....

    • @rosewink3299
      @rosewink3299 5 лет назад

      LunaTune ok I just rewatched it and he said mutation and then she said IDH1, I got that it was mentioned by the neuro onc but I felt it wasn’t clear if he had it just that was discussed so I guess it implies he does. But there are also other positive possibilities like if he the MGMT is methylated or unmethylated that is not mentioned.
