Mike Bergmann Minerals - Westward Look Show
Good old Mikey! Mike Bergmann never disappoints us with the incredible selection of killer minerals he brings every year to the Westward Look Show (aka Fine Mineral Show: Tucson). But on top of always having great minerals from around the world, Mike is now producing Rhodochrosites from his mine, the Sara Rose Mine, just upslope from the world-famous Sweet Home Mine in Alma, Colorado. He shares with Show Host Peter Megaw some of the latest production from this family-run mine.
Included in this clip are minerals such as:
Legrandite from the Ojuela Mine, Mexico
Azurite from the Copper Queen Mine, Bisbee, Arizona, USA
Tourmaline on matrix from the Cruzeiro Mine, Brazil
Sulfur cluster from Sicily, Italy
Herkimer Diamond cluster from Herkimer, New York, USA
Gold from Willow Creek, Alaska, USA
Polybasite from Guanajuato, Mexico
Sceptre Tourmaline with Sceptre Amethyst from Erongo Mountains, Namibia
Tourmaline crystal on matrix from Cruzeiro Mine, Brazil
Tourmaline cluster on matrix from Aricanga Mine, Brazil
Tourmaline cluster on matrix from the Cruzeiro Mine, Brazil
Aquamarine on matrix from Shigar, Pakistan
And lots and lots of Rhodochrosite and Fluorite from the Sara Rose Mine, Colorado, USA

Nice to meet you Tucson 2023. I purchased a large Elmwood fluorite cube from you/your son.
Just remarkable
Great azurite
That tourmaline is incredible!
Spectacular specimens
Once I live in Minas Gerais, Brazil, I'm amazed by the quality of our tourmalines.
Minas Gerais (a name wich can be literally translated as General Mines, in other words, a place with mines that produce everything: diamonds, gold, silver, iron, emeralds, cristals, you name it) it's truly amazing. Here, you can literally stop your car in a road that cuts a mountain and find precious stones. Easy.
Wow tourmaline
Really unusual aquamarine...
cant wait to see what Sara Rose produces in the coming years
Amen

Purple top cool
Belíssimas peças de coleção
Awesome id love to have any of those!

Ooooo I want that fluorite/rhodochrosite at 17:55
Man, I'm so jealous of the gen dealers and collectors. But most of all I'm jealous of the miners and hounds who are the first to find these glorious fruits of geological happenstance! I am a rockhünd and mainly just come across the humble chalcedony, agate and jasper type stone, but some things I've found are exceptional specimens when I compare it to things I see online. I've got maybe 7 top tier specimens, out of hundreds lol. Sometimes I find stuff that really blows my mind...
But to actually get in there and UNEARTH clutches of crystalline delights would be my dream come true. Knowing my luck I'd find some huge and fine specimen of something really rare and right after yelling, "eureka!" the Garlock fault would spasm and I'd be buried alive. That'd be dying doing what I love, though...
Anyway, love these videos. Someday I'm going to go to Tucson gem & mineral show!
