Hey Guys, This video was taken at the Wednesday 18th February matinee performance. The safety curtain basically is a large piece of solid iron (known in the backstage world as the 'iron') and is basically there to protect the theatre from damage in case of a fire or an emergency. Nick
what date was this?? I've been like 5-6 times and when I was last there on 18th Feb 2009 (both shows) I think it was the matinee they brought the safety curtain down at the intermission which they'd never done before

I know. I've seen the show 5 times and this was the only time the safety curtain was lowered yet it always been there :S x

oh wow i was there for this show... we had day seats for both shows that day... wasnt sarah amazing at the matinee lol
@nickiswickedmad Its in the legislation that it HAS to be lowered to show its operation.
