I saw her on Westend back in August. I think what I love most about her portrayal is how she alters her vocals throughout the show. Early on like in The Wizard and I she sounds more innocent and higher, and then in the later songs she unleashes that incredible lower register and adds in those growls. She quickly became one of my favourite Elphabas 🥰
I was lucky enough to go and see her live. I'm one of those folks who has trouble switching their brain off (thinking, worrying etc etc) even at the theatre - but I was totally there with Alexia. I'm kinda thrilled that there's this bootleg so I can somewhat relive it, I'm not gonna lie 😅
Wowwww going from a video of her No Good Deed in 2008 to here, the difference is breathtaking!! She was absolutely phenomenal back then as well and a lot of her mannerisms and vocal choices definitely carried over, but now her transformation into the wicked witch feels so much more raw and natural. 2:15 to 2:37 is performed remarkably real as someone else pointed out and the entire “I’m wicked through and through” ending portion is the perfect mix of vulnerability and bitterness, it’s so great they brought her back
She is one of the most captivating Elphaba’s ever. Every word, so intentional. She’s a phenomenal actress as well as a singer. I always wished I could’ve seen Idina and Christian when Wicked debuted, but I think people will think, “I saw Wicked when Alexia was there 😲”.
OH MY GOD!!!! thank you so much for posting this, i just want to relive her ngd all the time. the way she sings, acts and uses her eyes to engage with the audience is pure brilliance. she had me tearing up, so beautiful!
it's emotional, raw and real. Something I thought only Idina could do... I judged her lack of motions in defying gravity but man she's like a completely different person in no good deed! She's still a little holding back on it, but she isn't as stiff as she was in defying gravity (maybe the lift had something to do with it?) I could feel every emotion, Elphaba's fear and determination slowly turning into grief and anger... Mind-blowing, hope to see her live!
oh and I really like those 'witchy' flairs she puts on her vocals. 👍 put me on edge - in a good way - because I couldn't guess exactly what was coming next, even though I've heard the music/songs before.
i have seen her twice, with family and with school, she was phenomenal and i was kinda worried bcs i thought that when i was going to see her the second time as she might not have been performing and i kid you not i actually starting crying when i realised it was her ❤❤
Not that I'm aware of. Believe it or not she got a lot of negativity back in her first run as she was a departure from the "usual" style of Elphaba. Totally undeserved, glad she's back.
@@DanielWhit Nah, I can actually understand why this style wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea. I've already seen it twice so I would appreciate it. I actually saw the recent production recently but SHE was the only one out and Amy Webb was in. So I went to see these videos and am soooo disappointed I missed her.
Exactly plus Elphaba doesn’t have an understudy so she doesn’t have much time off besides last minute call outs & planned off days which makes the role even more stressful
much better than "unsafe" vocal choices just for too much flair. she made 'right' vocal choices. and it works as there's not a single strained note in her version
@@ArchSan09 exactly plus she made Elphaba sound witchy as well which matches for No Good Deed when Elphaba literally “I’m wicked thru & thru” so the vocal choices match! 😁
Nah.. Alexia is acting someone bipolar.. on the verge of not believable at times.. as is it only to show off her skills.. which are good. But she's forgetting about Elphaba. IMHO.
@@florenceashaye7331I’m with her, please don’t use mental illnesses as adjectives. That guy's "YES." was such a mood

She is genuinely one of the best Elphaba’s we’ll ever see. Outstanding vocals, but also an incredible storyteller. We’re so lucky!
She's the only Elphaba I've heard that actually puts a 'witchy' touch to her vocal performance. Really makes it her own
@@teunvanechtelt8942 Why would I seek to change my mind? It’s not a competition. More than one performer can be simultaneously incredible.
Her vocals suck srry ☠️
For me Voss is the best Ove heard. Not heard one that sings better than her yet :).
@@mars_png.yet she played Elphaba in 2008 as lead &!!! Was asked to play the role again so clearly the West End Production & Wicked likes her 🤭🤭🤭
Oh she’s definitely a No Good Deed Elphaba 🤩. I’m living for this contract.
3:26 that growl she does is sooo good really makes the song feel evil ah I love it, Alexia is such a good elphaba 😍
AAAAAAGYYYYYAAAAIIIINNNN

I watched her a month or so ago, the best live shows I’ve ever seen

Had to compliment Alexia her at stage door on this, she knowssss what she’s doing and the payoff is insane . Exhilarating to watch live

I love how witchy she goes
OMFG you can really feel the emotions in Elphaba when alexia performs NGD! 2:15 to 2:37
That last aggyyyyaaaan was absolutely incredible
I'm loving all the positive comments here. Keep love thriving for live theater.

Saw her last night and this was genuinely a spiritual experience she is INSANE
I had to see her twice.
This is the best No Good Deed I have ever seen. And yes that's including Rachel Tucker and Eden Espinosa
That was bewitching and effing phenomenal! Outstanding vocals.
Oh my god this was beautiful 🤩
That last Again!!!! The grittttttt 🤩🤩🤩🤩 I have goosebumps
Omg phenomenal. The best ever ever ever version I have ever heard!!!!!
My favorite Elphaba!! Saw her when she was first cast. Saw her twice she was so good.
She is also the best I have ever seen
Just amazinggggg. I wanna go watch again!!
I'm off to see her on Friday so excited!!!
i watched this with her as elphaba, but my seats were extremely far back and i couldn’t see her, so this was amazing to see
OKAY YES!!!!!!!! Go off girl !!!
Cynthia Erivo needs to watch this performance as part of her research for the movie version 😍
That WHAT QUESTION HAUNTS AND HURTS, OMG.... you feel the pain and she's crying!!! Alexia is amazing.
Broadway after Mary Kate please!!!
That wig is gorgeous.
HER GROWLLLL I LOVE HER WITCHINESS
Has any other elphaba actress put this kind of spin on the character??? I've watched so many videos and haven't seen one do it like this.

That voice!!! 1:19
Simply put….. 🤯
WOW
I’m seeing her in July and this video already had me in tears because I love it so much. Yeah i’ll be leaving the theatre a MESS
Love elphaba and she nails the role one of my faves
3:23 AaaagYyyeeehheeeeeeeen love it
She has great range
I watched wicked yesterday afternoon and she was playing Elphie 13/04/2024
3:23 SHE ATE THAT!!!
Phenomenal… She should be doing the movie!
True she’s a fantastic singer and a fantastic actress
BEST ELPHABA!! ❤❤❤
Have you got anymore clips ? 😊
Can this be a return to some of the ones from years ago? Pretty please?
Omg that 1:52 ornament there!!
Does anyone have the full boot of the whole show?
No good deed is not the Villain song anymore is the hero song she wants to save her Prince Charming
The Wizard and Madame Morrible are the Villains
Elphaba is the beloved hero
The witchcraft becomes her superpower
Who’s Glinda?
Holy shirt balls.
Not my favorite rendition. She makes a lot of "safe" vocal choices here, but considering how tough this role is to pull 8 times a week, I get it.

Crazy Elphaba... that's a new take on the role... hahahha.
Rachel Tucker is without a doubt the best Elphaba I’ve ever seen, Alexia is alright but she’s not as good as Rachel in my opinion…
I compare everyone to Jessica Vosk. No one holds a candle to her!!!!
Alexia left Jessica in the dust

@sergekuptsoff9117 right, but youre acting as if v*sk was bland in her acting either

Gurl can act her ass off and tell a great story… but… JESSICA VOSK 🤣
This isn't about Jessica tho lol idk why y'all leave ignorant comments like this and Alexia still ate her up too😂
Comment something positive on one of HER videos then. Why make a backhanded post here.
Why make a backhanded comment?? & thats fine if you like Vosk but you didn’t need to make that comment here….. 😐😐
To be honest i found her too intense, like some of her acting choices are so particular that it ends up sounding exagerated.
Meh, Shoshana blows that out of the water.
No need to compare
