"An Exposition of the Orthodox Faith" by Saint John of Damascus is one of the most important Orthodox writings ever in my opinion. I can't do it justice in 35 minutes, so I encourage you all to read it for yourselves!

Brother, I am from a majority Orthodox (cradle) country, yet I am not Orthodox (historically it was so). It is as if the faith is like folk clothing, one people have that, the other have this.. It makes no sense, I slowly explore Church history, and I see that Orthodoxy is so so beautiful, unchanged, strong and endurant. I wish to be baptized in Orthodoxy, and continue my path as such. Pray for me! (I am protestant, not neoprotestant, rather the older kind)

That is why Orthodoxy is not one of the ways towards God, but the only way. Find a good church and spiritual father, and experience God's energy's like Saints before us!
