what is the year of your car? Because i have BMW 2005 and its impossible to me connect this

2015, but OBD2 became standard in 1996. Are you keying the car on when it’s connected?

What if it doesn't identify the car?

If your car has OBDII it should identify the car. If not you can run updates on the scanner.
