    You should start with the bottom hose because you want to back flush the clog. I’ve also had better luck with removing hoses while the vehicle is still hot because they’re more pliable. Great idea removing the overflow bottle, I never removed mine and honestly never thought to, definitely makes it a lot easier.

    I had trouble removing the hoses at the tensioner housing, so I opted to unbolt those metal brackets and they pop right out. The fittings use 2 o rings to seal it. I very lightly greased up the o rings before popping the hose fitting back in.

    Great detailed video! However do you think I should try this before replacing my heater core?
    I recently got a new radiator, upper & lower hoses, as well as new heater core hoses cause my old radiator was so caked with that dexcool crap. My last GP I had it flushed out and used 50/50 and it worked amazing.
    However when I got the new parts put on I did have it flushed and heat & AC worked fine. My car has been sitting for months due to rack and pinion work and I think it may be clogged from sitting with dirt inside. I have small fog on my windshield but no odor of coolant inside or no wet floor

      @@missdai9613 yeah I’d say try flushing it first. I flushed mine multiple times over the years

    Do I have to drain the radiator while doing this process or will it be fine to keep the radiator full and just clean out the heater core?

      Located on the passenger side. When you open the door you should see the fuse box located near the vents on the side of the dash.

      This could be a few different issues related to your EVAP system. I’d start looking at the charcoal canister or for a plugged line

      @@itsthefamchannel4263 that could be an issue with the fuel pump level sensor. You’ve got a bit of diagnosing to do to find the causes.

      So what would you recommend??

    • @ToolboxTipz
      @ToolboxTipz  Год назад +1

      @@itsthefamchannel4263 you’d need to get a scan tool that will show you that data so you can see what the sensor is doing. I don’t have any videos at this time showing how to diagnose that issue.
