It's really hard to imagine an orc flintnapping. Too much patience and fine skill required.
It's the Gobbos doing the knapping, then the Boyz take it from them and smash some nasty jungle-creature with it. If it works, then the Gobbo gets to eat whatever bits and pieces the Boyz throw aside during the feast. If it doesn't work, then the Gobbo gets to eat whatever bits and pieces remain of the Boyz. The circle of life.
banging two rocks together to make sharp things isn't quite the same as flint knapping
Green skin spear makers probably go more by trail and error, ie smashing rocks to pieces until they find one that's sufficiently sharp
Of course, *intentional* tool making is a skill lost upon the orcs. Unintentional tool making, however...
More likely they just bash an insane amount of rocks till one eventually comes out the right shape through sheer law of chance.
I like the older lore where to ride a boar they would tie the rains too its gonads, that being the only way in hell you could steer them, for a bit or unless you pulled to hard, in which case prepair to get gored if you did something stupid like get off.

I had a 2k army of Savage Orcs. The army book was a load of fun, and so was the mob I ran. Lost or won big, but was always worth the laughs!
that's the charm of greenies. Faced a night goblin army with my dark elves. Sent some harpies to charge as first action.released 9 fanatics, who did more damage to the greenies than my pointies. Made breaking them in combat res so much easier for me. My buddy brought his orc mob next game, and that was a roller coaster of a game for both of us.

The fact that Orcs are actually just Mushroom people in Warhammer and 40k makes them one of my favorite races in all of fiction.
Skaven... orcs... a match made in hell. The green tide and the vermintide make a pandemonium. I only pray they direct their fury en-masse towards the forces of chaos since the orcs revel in battle. It's not like combat is their reproduction ritual.

After years of playing 40k orks and getting royally abused by GW, price hike on all 16-years-old sculpts and the thorough gutting of horde armies in 9th edition is the straw that broke the camel's back.

Bruh, you actually expected the game's focus to remain the same? NEVER chase the meta. Never.
@@rhyzvanic3660 All early 2000s sculpts of infantry (that you need to get a lot of to form an army) got a price hike, while 9th edition buffs vehicles, letting them shoot in melee, and makes it so you always get the maximum number of shots from weapons with d3/d6 rules when targeting a horde.
In short, thoroughly gutted. If they at least gave orks/nids a range update before raising the prices, I wouldn't be as pissed, but this is too much. (Guard is already a vehicle-based army, since blobs of 30 guardsmen had become useless after the massive nerf commissars got.)
Also, look at the prices of all the new AdMech models, especially that shitty flyer. Such a model of setting prices is apparently the future of the game. No, thank you very much, not a penny from me.

Fun fact about orcs and reproduction; In old lore it was not spores but female orcs. Even in some new lore from third parties it is still female orcs. So back in old times the orcs got kids through putting on some barry white music, bringing wine and flowers and hoping for the best. There have also been some old dark references to orcs having "fun" with captives from other races, and having harems. If I remember correct there was a warhammer RPG book that had captive humans painted green and used in a harem. It was different time back when lore was little bit all over the place

If you think about it, it makes sense, I can see how enough orks jumping off of treetops onto the knight or using some kind of trap to topple it. War walkers are a dumb concept.

When I was playing as Grom in tww2 I had to thump a huge savage ork army and had a nice feast afterwards.
Played Grimgor ,had most of my force of black orks,savage orks held on AWHILE

The Orc who discovered that smashing objects could be made into stabbing objects must be one of the most revered figures of their history, with it being a development for Orc society at LEAST as exciting as the Internet is for ours. Of course, said Orc probably isn't actually a revered historic figure because either A) A larger Orc used their smashing object to crush the smart orc into paste and take their stabbing object or B) "Fuk 'em, dey'z ded".
