      filling in the blemishes with molten lead instead of filler ! NOT really replacing and strengthening ... and the car was stunning in White and boringly "standard" in blue EVEN if the wankers who can afford these ALSO beleive in Drew's little stories that he sells more than he sells the cars.

    07:00 - its not 'just' a lead bar, it is I would suggest akin to the 'wiped joints' of an old-time craftsman plumber. 'Plumbers solder' of deliberately 33% tin and 67% lead allowed them the greatest plasticity. For any serious consideration or for any valid engineering evaluation the 'lead-tin equilibrium diagram' reveals much pertaining to this ie is essential in enabling an understanding. Basic metallurgy.

    • @procatprocat9647
      @procatprocat9647 Год назад

      Yes, that is basic. Remember that you were watching a TV show. Most topics are very much more complex than leadwork, but on TV they're presented at a very simple level and attuned to the target audience.

However I am keen to buy a Triumph TR6 and wondered whether you would find, restore and sell one to me🙂, not sure how realistic my budget is but was thinking circa 25k, want it as an every day driver, not bothered whether it's lhd or rhd as I live in Spain on the Costa Blanca, anyway worth asking, I'm in no rush but want an original car? Not sure how else to get a decent one? Regards Andrew Stoppani.

The ex demo and racing driver elements are crucial to giving the episode a human story. That's what sells. Not everyone is solely interested in nuts and rust.

Check out the latest Ferrarri 4x4 versus the 1970 INterceptor FF in a race to Moritz on youtube ...The interceptor wins hands down . Thats quite something ! but as for this car and its resto hmmmm Attention to the detail is always what is important and when I look at the cheapo black wipers and the blacked out front grill , I have to wonder if this is just a pseudo resto for the camera. If so much money has been spent , why skimp on such a focal point as the £1 shop wipers ??
