I come from a family of Hoarders, it’s definitely a mental illness. It’s a substitute for something that’s missing from their lives, and they are usually dreamers. The stuff just ends up rotting and they deprive others of the enjoyment of owning and restoring these things. They also deprive themselves of some decent income too ! Because of this life growing up with garages, attics, sheds and spare bedrooms full to the ceiling with stuff, I live a minimalist life and own very little.
My sister hoards chairs. Her living room is so full of them some are on top of others, upside-down, and one doorway is partly blocked by one. She has seats for 14 people in a small living room in a house occupied by 2 who seldom have visitors.
The past few months I've been hooked on watching your videos. So many really cool things you've found. We will be continuing to watch you from the Southern Tier of the Catskill Mountains in Upstate New York USA
Very true. In the U.S. you are lucky to find something from the late 1700's or early 1800's, and nothing much before that. But in England you can find stuff from the middle ages and before. Much history their.
Poor Chris; thinks he's winning by getting publicity and withholding everything from Drew for projects that will never happen. The grin as he says 'no' says a lot about him.
@14.17: "My initial desire was to have a museum... I really want to preserve it for the future..." He's just watching everything rust. This is really odd, unlike having 43 cement mixers, of course. However, Chris's total lack of interest in the prospect of money is a heart-warming eccentricity.
It’s such a shame that all those interesting cars and items are allowed to rust away. When he dies some poor person is got to go though all those items and a lot of them will have to be scrapped
So much history and good stuff sitting there ritting away, such a shame. These ppl keep all this stuff but dont consider that someday their kids or someone will have to deal with all that stuff. Clive's old place was so neat n tons of history there. They sure don't make stuff the way they used back in the old days.. that old bathtub, would be nice to have.
i'd say that the last guy they visited had the right mentality. holding onto something for the next generation but knowing your limits and selling when the time is right. so many hoarders let their valuable things literally rot into the ground rather than part with them for a decent price. i know a person like that and it's so confusing. it's like the rustier something gets the more value it gets to them...
Don't go buy to collector...its like going to their house and buying their love ones..."priceless",. But say the right word...they had no choice. They will approved. Like marrying their daughter on such sorts.
I would try a different approach with those individuals, who are known hoarders and can't seem to part with anything. If money doesn't seem to interest them, offer to trade them junk for junk.
I wish this youtuber would allow the Salvage Hunters benefit as they should from these videos. They did the work, then Popcornfix comes in to "share" what the Salvage Hunters' efforts would have earned. Yes, others do the same thing -- the cheater's excuse. I hope Popcornfix isn't proud of what he has skimmed, and that his viewers will realize how shady his behavior is. Earn your own way, Popcornfix -- there are lots of unflattering names for what you're doing now!
I searched to see if Mr Tite was still with us. He passed away in 2015 aged 93. Wonderful life he must have had bless him.

@@misterbonzoid5623 - These people don’t realise how much happier they could be if they would just take the plunge and de-clutter.
That guy in Buxton is so far beyond help that he should be locked up for his own safety.
WHAT A BLOODY NUT CASE..
What a lovely bloke the guy with the XT500 was. an XT500 today in good condition is over £10k.
I've watched these shows many times over, still I enjoy watching them every time! Thanks so much for sharing I really enjoyed watching and learning!
I could listen to Gaven talk all day long. Love that deep voice and dry humor.

I love this show. Wish I lived in England, there is so much more history connected to every wondering thing. It got me s little gobsmacked

I REALLY do like that guy Chive I think his name was, looking after that castle with the Roman paintings. He's A TRUE BRITISH GENTLEMAN!!!
Clive, not Chive
So this is the British version of American Pickers! Very cool...I have bought some awesome antiques from European dealers. 🙏
Enjoyed this thanks.....Nice to see early Drew n team full episode 👌
Even Enzo has a job! He provides scale in the pictures.
He's a sweet dog.
Enjoy watching Drew! Fun stuff!👌
Thank you so much for the upload ! 🤗 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Love this series. 😍
Any chance of uploading the spin off series "The restorers" as well ?!
I enjoy watching you go through stuff. Reminds me of when I was younger. Glad you are repurposing these things
You're addressing Drew as "you", this isn't his mailbox...
Drew is a fair man.
He does know that the camera is recording though, which changes the dynamic...
Poor Chris; thinks he's winning by getting publicity and withholding everything from Drew for projects that will never happen. The grin as he says 'no' says a lot about him.
Love Mr Tite senior ❤.
All those rusted tools could be saved. Ide have a blast looking through all those @ 7:53
Beautiful and good 😊
I front Drew a like before I even watch the video not the easy thing letting others watch you work they have a nice production spot on !
@14.17: "My initial desire was to have a museum... I really want to preserve it for the future..."

so sad to see things just rusting away in fields.
It’s such a shame that all those interesting cars and items are allowed to rust away. When he dies some poor person is got to go though all those items and a lot of them will have to be scrapped
All of them you mean.
Sad but I see it away different way okay if his family had brains all of them he's left them loads of the money.
Brilliant

That's why I'm a big advocate of Swedish death cleaning.

Very nice of Drew to offer 30 quid for a pair of those lamps when Mr. Tite asked for 15.
He still ripped him off.
He still rips people off if he can
Understood that hoarders rarely part with anything - still, Drew did manage to buy several things! So, never take 'no" for an answer.
@50:36 is that a pith helmet in the back of that car?
The more I see of Rebecca, the more I want to see of Rebecca. ;-P
There needs to be a law for junk yard hoarders to sell. Wow sword steps.
02:02 My first car was a Wolseley 15/50 like that, sad to see one being shunted y forklift
He's not interested in money he's interested in seeing nice beautiful things rot. Such a shame.
Is the little guy related to the wrestler TOM THUMB?
Don't go buy to collector...its like going to their house and buying their love ones..."priceless",. But say the right word...they had no choice. They will approved. Like marrying their daughter on such sorts.
???
Damn: that's a great take. I'll have to remember that. It's like getting into the head of a hoarder. Using their own game against them.
Donde le puedo dar para escucharlo en español, te sigo hace mucho tiempo en el canal de tv???? Porfa
Where is T , not the same with out T 😔😔😔
Before he came
I would try a different approach with those individuals, who are known hoarders and can't seem to part with anything. If money doesn't seem to interest them, offer to trade them junk for junk.
Bom dia ótima playlist estou com 9 vídeos oculto e não consigo assistir
You will never see a Hurst pulling a uhaul
The annual tax report of the first place must have been around zero !
Would not of painted that green but she bought it she can do whatever she wants to it 😭
Buenas tardes
Hola. ¿ Que tal_?
Why not for sale , if he sell them and go to other home the items can be preserved the history can be seen , the items shouldn't gone rotten.
Well said. I have finally figured out that hoarding is a terrible disease. These people are blind. Can't see the forest through the trees.
❤😊
I would like me an xt 500 But they are hard to find now
COMPLIMENTI
Sería muy bueno que se tradujera al ESPAÑOL
Id give him 1500 to 2000 for that xt 500, ive seen renovated ones for 3500 4000 pristine 7 to 9 grand.
The dark man is talking very s lo w e l y.
Don’t think you should be saying dark man
Where is "T"
He got fired
His contract ran out
Series 1 . Before T
12,000 lb fully restored? Sounds a bit insane?!!?? Really, it would cost triple to restore it to get pennies on your $
Wouldn't you want to find out if someone was willing to sell things before you travel 3HOURS!!!!
I know! It doesn’t make sense.
Por favor traducir al español
What are your guesses on Drew’s favourite super hero?
To me he looks like a Batman guy
What’s the point in looking when he doesn’t want to sell anything??
So if he is not going to sell, why the hell does Drew keep going back?
Sell something! Wtf!
I know its TV programme, but why not ask him if he has anything for sale before putting yourself out?
There’s a few cars in the brambles their
Ya need a metal detector & a shovel
A proper thick who gives more attention
To his goatsFfs
Drew and Rebecca married 10 years, he cheater on her for 2 of them. I still watch the show tho.

Ne gusta este programa pero este señor ( es mi sensacion ) regatea a los "pobres" y paga en exceso a los ricos... No creéis? Yo lo veo así muy claro.

Popcornflix is legit. They must have officially licenced the 1st season.
