Where did you launch and move towards fishing, which areas?? Is that a fair question?
@@michaelahumada3603 yeah mostly launched from markley or capell. I fished main lake mostly and the east side of the lake
I recently bought a kayak and have been out a few times mostly mornings mostly out of Pleasure Cove, no fish finder or anything fancy to tell how deep the water is so I have a rookie fishing question.. About how far off the banks are you casting? Thanks for the update and information!
@@zamman6988 generally when it comes to that south end of the lake. I would say there really isn’t a bad cast. I’ve found fish schooling on bait 50 yards off the bank. And was catching them on topwater and jerkbaits but as a general rule I would say most of the time if you’re within 10-20ft of the bank you’re probably in 12-25ft of water. Morning or low light time frame I tend to catch a lot of my fish up on the bank but as the day goes on I find myself working 30-40 yards off the bank on tapering points and offshore structure
