- Race day was going great beating Shawn Langdon in the first round. Second round things got interesting with unexpected tire smoke in front of us. That’s where things got tricky. #weather #tricks #car

I was fortunate enough to give my son a big hug and tell him I loved him the last time I saw him. Never take it for granted that you will see them again. Love you Clay.
@@royallison5173 l❤️❤️❤️❤️
Remember before the season began you talked about how you wanted to win all of the races towards the end of the season I know it's coming.
John Force is the Elvis of drag racing, you my friend are the Mr. Rogers of drag racing Clay Mikillin it! Love what you do for all of us!!!❤
Stepping on that thumbs up and comment pedal...😊
Awesome 💯👍 teams stomp on the load pedal
I appreciate the Q and A sessions always interesting, thanks for answering mine.
It's been a few years since I made the trip to Norwalk from Canada but because of this chanel I decided to come down sunday. I tell you that first round was the best round of racing I've seen in my life. That many cars all completing fast passes and side by side finishes within a few .001 was unreal. Walked out to your pit a few times and you guys were working real hard and all had smiles on. You have a unique team and I used my Summit rewards to get next years tickets already .😉
Awesome! Thanks for signing my ticket! ❤#25 #51 #Badass
It was an honor to meet you Sunday brother! I pray for you and your team, and that God blesses you all beyond measure!! Would love to come and see a full weekend with you guys!! Psalms 115:1 JT
Will this be conducive for Clay Millican grabbing a "Wally" this weekend? Have an old sticker on my toolbox that says "Werner Enterprises Racing" Top Fuel Dragster
I've still got my crew shirt and jacket from 2001.. neither quite fit the fat guy anymore but memories
Antron seems like a really cool dude... Positive attitude brings positive things ... Thank You Clay
I used to order parts from Jegs because they did not have any warehouses in the state of Nevada so I did not have to pay tax, but now that I have to pay tax no matter what state the company does business in I go to Summit now because they have a warehouse in Nevada. If the part I order comes from the warehouse in Nevada, and I order the part early enough in the day it shows up the next day here in Las Vegas without having even to pay for overnight shipping.
That’s awesome and convenient
The chassis is the suspension, along with the slicks
We need a clay challenge.. These crew guys can rebuild the engine faster than someone doing the 1400m Race i bet. Lets see If they can take apart/Rebuild quicker than somebody doing the 1400m Racer XD "The Clay Challenge" Lets make this a thing People!
Not remotely possible.
@sleeperimpala2504 Indeed. Too fast on a tear down/rebuild might make a mistake. Mistakes cost money. Parts are not cheap. The time and effort they put in now is fine. No need for a change.
Best Wishes to everyone on the Rick Ware Racing
Top Fuel Team, their Families and Friends. #RWR51
Happy 4th Millicans and God Bless America:)
Thanks Clay your videos are Hella entertaining
The special scheme looks good as well as the apparel.
Clay, thanks for the videos. How do some of you guys breathe the nitro fumes and not have burning eyes and throat?
Man this is Wild I'm stoked I can't believe I found your YT channel & it's actually u & showing what it's about man. Your the man keep it up God Bless 💪🙏💨🏁 (I grew up NHRA & had to abruptly abandoned it,totally unexpected) I'm so glad I found your channel. Stay Real 🤙keep racin✌️
Love your Channel. Thanks for such an overwhelming insight into the Parts Plus team !
Love you back Clay! keep up the great content.
Clay you are always an inspiration. Your suggestion to call someone you love is something many of us think about, but don’t execute as often as we should. Good reminder! Greatly enjoyed your responding to posts from your fans. I learn something every week!
Was great to meet you and your crew at America’s Racetrack! Thanks for signing my STLP shirt too brother!
You've been 1 of my favorite drivers for a long time. One of those reasons, no matter what happens you're always smiling and never a bad thing to say about anyone, The other is John Force, I pray he walks out of the hospital even if he decides to hang up the firesuit
Thanks for the video, Mr. Millican love watching them with my wife and kids.
Another execellent video Clay. Isn't it amazing the technology we have today. In the old days you couldnt change much on the car in the staging lanes like you can today. Nicky and Jimmo did a damn good job backen the car off before the run.
Awesome commentary clay! Appreciate ya buddy!
Happy 4th July to you, Donna and the whole RWR Parts Plus team. After meeting you in vegas and Pomoma last year, you are the one of the nicest persons that I have ever meet. Your last part saying call somebody and tell them you love them, just shows why you have over 100k followers. I love you too.
Thank you Clay!
We LOVE YOU!!
Clay thank you! Watching Your channel brings a smile to my face. Called my kids and told them that I loved them, what a great idea. As always thanks for taking us along!!!
No matter what track they are at Clay is always glad to be there.
Just like you said brother , love ya brother be safe!!!!!
Love you man.
You do so much for the sport of drag racing. You keep it real, you don't put on a show just for the sake of a show.
Biggest thing that I like you are the Ambassador of Fun for NHRA.
@ClayMillican25 next time you are in BRISTOL you have got to order GREG'S PIZZA in Johnson City Tennessee. It is out of this world, I highly recommend the pepperoni, hamburger and ham pizza. There is no other pizza like it. I drive 1000 miles round trip just for that pizza! And it is worth it!
❤😁😁😁😁😁😁😁🇦🇺✊💪😎🦖👍👍👍👋👋👋🙏🥃🥃you’re a great man and I whatch you all the time stay safe and healthy 🙏🙏🦖
I really thought you were going to lay down a great number this weekend the conditions seemed good man 😢
Vid time 1437 YEA !!! , my car is faster and quicker than a Top Fuel car .. . . .
Good afternoon from over the pond 🇺🇸🇬🇧🇬🇧🇺🇸 have a good 4th July,We are going to vote for parliament MPs,wow the 2nd round first pair that tried to get any traction from the start was was not expected, absolutely mind boggling. You were unlucky in your race especially with the adjustments being taken before your race..…🇬🇧🇺🇸🇺🇸🇬🇧
Great video with great information. Thank you for being you ; all the best Clay.
@15:00,, it's amazing to nowdayz see a gob a fellers on the track measuring temps, checking for rubber, overall fretting what the track may allow. Some get it figured out, some do not. 12,000 horsepower is worthless IF ya can't find a way to get those HUGE slicks grab aholt a dat track, LAUNCH like a rocket spin the Earth backward and propel your race car down range in 3 and a half seconds at 330"+" mph! A tough task for all the crew chief's.
Time 003 As a side note, the old Weld Wheels building in Kansas City, Missouri was taken down May 19, 2024.
Clay! On the issue of main studs pulling out of these top fuel blocks: Steve Morris & Tom Bailey have a block they are manufacturing that is machined from forged billet aluminum. I'm thinking out loud here, with no knowledge of the manufacturing process for Top Fuel blocks, but I can't help but wonder if maybe the Morris & Bailey design and engineering might hold some better ways of bolstering main stud area strength.
Just a thought! Also: thanks for being you. You model a level of outgoing positivity I'd like to achieve in my own life. It was cool meeting you at Norwalk in 2023.
No shame brother. It was a crap shoot. You gave it everything you could, Antron was just a little faster. 👍
A couple of questions:
- Does everyone run the 2:90 gears? What does tire wrinkle and expansion change that to? +/- 20% ?
- If a chute is released at a number of wheel rotations (by those that do that) - why dont we see chutes pop during wheel spin happenings?
Love Ned Rolsma. His hair at 21:49 looks like an oak tree, which is what a a7 footer should have for hair !
I'm so disappointed as probably you are you can't seem to pull everything together.
We hear you say "That's racing" but it still doesn't mean we want to see yall in that winners circle all the time. Yall just don't seem to be getting those breaks everyone else it gets ☹️
We still pull for ya every time you're running that thing.
C'mon LETS GO !!
Do you think you will come to Australia clay? Particularly perth?
Or do I need to fly up to the US to see ya?😂
Hi smiley, wondering if your familiar with Dick Oldfield.
Sorry for late comment. I was little sick and not feeling good. But feeling better after seeing your smiling face. Thank you Clay you are my Hero ! 😊
Dear Mr Millican, I'm a motocross announcer up here in the Great Pacific Northwest and I have some sad news. The guy that I admired most in my field was a guy named Larry "Supermouth" Huffman who was inducted into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 2008. Believe it or not.. He was the first person to coin the phrase that so many of us quote today in racing, and the phrase your sister, Leigh, used at the beginning of her video "SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY"
I am gutted to report that the day she released that excellent video, Monday July 1st, Larry Huffman passed away. The phrase "Sunday, Sunday, Sunday" along with "You'll buy the ticket for the whole seat, but you'll only need the edge!!" and "You'll bring your BRAINS HOME IN A BAG!!" were all Mr. Huffman.
Even though he was best known for his AMA Camel Supercross in the '70s and '80s.. it was "the phrase" used in a commercial for Lions Drag Strip in Wilmington Ca. during the late '60s (the track he got his start in announcing) where he FIRST used the line "SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY" that endeared him to his fans. I don't know if you knew him, I did not. But he had a profound impact on my career, and it is why today, I salute him.
That was crazy! Jim-O always looks so calm, I would have been a wreck. See you in Seattle!
😂 @cjracecars, looks like you guys have great fun at work. Would be a awesome place to work at I reckon 👍😃
Of course Antwan has a beautiful young lady with him
Thanks for another great video. Why do some crew members wear full face respirators and some don’t during the warmup in the pit?
Is there any chance Memphis Motorsports Park can be saved?! Damn I miss that place!
Good job. Top Fuel I think is a crapshoot no matter what. Then throw it some changing weather.
Great job this weekend clay, had a blast seeing you again here at my home track right in my back yard, can’t wait for night under fire, super happy they got you in for it.
I came to this channel from Nascar late last year. I have to say my second favorite driver is Antron. My favorite is not Tony, BTW
now that this is going so well, and you are more and more in the media. Do you think you should get some John Force ( God bless Him) teeth? Lol
some good questions from fans - I learned about how the parachute gets deployed.
From one Tennessee man to another - may the good Lord watch over you and bring you home safe each time you hit that loud pedal.
Clay you are one of the coolest cats around hope I get to meet you keep diggin Clay from mobile Alabama
Your right about John Force, he is drag racings biggest asset. People all over the world know who he is and what he has done for the sport. We need him back healthy whether it's as a driver or team owner it doesn't really matter.
I love it when you start up on gas (I always thought it was methanol in the squeeze bottle) then the nitro comes in the engine gets mean. What would happen if it was just gas in the tank or would it even run full power?
The John Force crash:
I'm wondering if it is time to put crush structures on the sides of Funny Cars, there is enough room.
Love the Q&A after a race weekend you should do it more!! Thanks for the great content
so close running well.......this week bring it home next one
Whats up Clay!! Can you give a run down on the gauges on the race pack.
As John looks to be on the mend, why doesnt someone start a book of Love and Good wishes for him, give him something to do and know we are all behind him, we are quick to start one after someone has passed, so lets start a new trend and wish them well now,
Keep stomping that loud peddle.
God i miss the drag strip, haven't been in at least 10 years...
Clay, are u coming back to norwalk for night of fire in august?
Getting a little blond it looks like. .but all my loved ones either live with me or are up stairs with your boy. 💪🏻
Do they repair a pulled out main stud by welding the block or are you allowed to put inserts in?
Can you go over the racepac I see the rpm what is the numbers on bottom left the seen as high as 200 is that oil or fuel pressure and what is the other data it shows
Clay your just to nice too all them kids just keep showing them how to do it Antron's got all that data, but you had that cat by the tail as well
So coool to see your car from the Goodyear blimp! ⭕️⭕️⭕️
Do you hold your breath or do you breath normally on a lap when you put your foot on the loud pedal? Your a Legend Clay.
God bless you brother 🙏 thank you for your videos!
We all love Clay.
This is better than watching NHRA
Awesome , Thanks Clay 😊
Amen brother Amen.....👍🇺🇸🇨🇱✌️
Love you guys at RWR !!!!
You guys did fantastic😊
If you only knew how much impact you have on people...............! Every sport needs a Clay Millican. Thanks.
congrats on 100k subs!!!
For the guy asking what the tape is covering, if you go back to his video explaining what he is doing in the cockpit for a run clay gave us that answer when no data was loaded. Mag timing was one, don't remember the rest off top of my head.
I went back and checked, left side (above fuel flow) is fuel pressure and oil pressure. Right side is mag timing according to that video.
How's Kaylynn doing ?
I meant have a question
Curious why you haven’t gone to a cockpit car like Antron.
I answered that in this video watch it all the way through to get your answer. Thank You 🙏
Do you think NHRA would consider installing safer walls like they have at NASCAR tracks?
Ahh my question was answered!! Catch me fangirling. Have a good 4th Clay!
Hi guys love you all
Great vlog Clay! It was fun, informative and DANG interesting! 32 minutes went by in the blink of an eye! Thank you!
Y'all do your jobs at a 💯
Jim & Nick do fanphuckentastic staying ahead of everything.
Always a brain teaser with all the weather related stuff that's constantly changing.
💪💪👊✌️
TDR. Making changes in the lanes isn't an exact science, at least you all aren't hand grenadeing a motor every run like earlier in the season. You did well last season out west as I recall, go out to dinner in Seattle and have a nice cioppino, it doesn't get any better than that !!!
TIME TO GET ON A ROLL, COUNTDOWN IS LOOMING...
As usual Clay, great video. Prayers for you your family, and the whole RWR organization
I don’t know how Clay ended up with the best looking, hardest working, most knowledgeable crew out there. Well played!! Great video as always! Lesssssssgooooooooi
Ohh Ohh you said the "R" word... Has that discussion come up recently? Maybe outside the camp after John force's incident? I hope not. you are the one who keeps me watching the races here on you tube since I cant afford internet AND TV anymore.
I got a mute button
I'm still telling you Legend !!!
Write "Buckshot" on the side of that Starship and you'll Win.
Fan request... what could go wrong ???
