I was trying to figure out why I was smiling extra hard watching this until I realized it was Brent behind the camera. That dude just puts out the best energy.

As a former sportsman drag racer tears came to my eyes when Cleetus's boys got the once in a lifetime opportunity to assist with a top fuel teardown. What a story that will be.

@@93cutty If you ever have a chance to go see a Top Fuel race in person, PLEASE do not pass it up. You cannot describe how amazing the sound is. It's more of a feeling that cameras do no justice for. I'm in Denver and they closed Bandimere Speedway last summer and I could not be more bummed out. Used to go to Mile High Nationals every year.
@@ddxs12 what is most sad about me not following the NHRA is I live by the Lucas Oil Raceway I think it's called in Indianapolis. I hear them running when they are in town. I'll have to go check them out. I can't believe it shook Ruby off like that. I'm about 6-10 miles away from it and hear it clear as day when they run.

That post run in car camera reaction is just Clay (from what I have ever seen) to the core! drives a top fuel drag car for a living, countless runs against other 3-4sec top fuel cars and is so incredibly excited after running down Garrett in ol' Ruby!

Too cold for the winter warm up in Gainsville. Quite a few teams used to come to Moroso in West Palm Beach until it was sold to build warehouses, that were never built!!
@@MNW777-k4c Fortunately, the developer got SO MUCH HEAT about the tracks being there first, they added a NON-SUE clause in the purchase agreements for those new homes. It states the purchaser understands they are purchasing a home that is in EXTREMELY CLOSE proximity to a race track and acknowledge the noise levels may go late in the night. But they will NEVER be able to sue the track or make complaints about it.
Not that some fruit loop shitheel Ken or Karen won't try to just to cost the tracks legal fees, though. They will do it enough they will eventually run across some eco-friendly Karen judge that won't care about the stipulations in the purchase agreement and will let a legal action go forward, and it will make it's way all the way to the Supreme Court of Florida before a real conclusion is reached. But that will cost the tracks HUNDREDS of thousands of $'s to get it beat in legal fees.
@edhayenga I'd also hope that if the day comes those tracks close, Cleetus and BMP can build a bigger better complex somewhere else and really make it the mecca for motorsports

One video led to Tom Bailey, another to KSR, and then ultimately to Clay's channel. I have looked forward to every video Clay has posted for over a year now. Go to a race. I got to meet Rick and his Dad at Ennis last year. Took the time to meet people in the pits. Flying Sparks garage was there being treated like family.
