My late daughter’s grand father was the late Indy CART crew chief Jerry Eisert.His last team he had before he retired in 1986 was the Interscope Racing with Danny Ongasis behind the wheel. Thing I didn’t like about the Indy drivers is their huge egos. F1 drivers are even worse with huge egos and many won’t even talk to most the crews if what Jerry use to tell me.

This isn’t quitting Kaylynn, this is life and the journey of life. Life takes everyone of us on our own unique journey. The people you meet and learn along the way become part of your rudder, and that rudder is what helps guide you on the journey of life. Your experiences with Clay and that team will help you in the future. And who knows, someday you might find yourself back in a NHRA pit sharing some of that knowledge as now part of your rudder.
Dang it Clay,once again I get hit in the feels and us old guys seem to want to keep everyone together. Family is so important but what’s more important is that the kids grow and learn and then they have to follow their own paths. The dynamic may change but it’s important to keep going forward and let them know that they can always come home 🏠. Kaylynn has impressed me since I started watching these videos. She is an incredibly impressive, talented young lady and with her skills and attitude she can accomplish whatever she wants in life. Gonna miss seeing her!

Dang it Clay,once again I get hit in the feels and us old guys seem to want to keep everyone together. Family is so important but what’s more important is that the kids grow and learn and then they have to follow their own paths. The dynamic may change but it’s important to keep going forward and let them know that they can always come home 🏠. Not because of failure but rather for a moment to reflect and recharge before they embark on their next journey!
Thanks for helping to making the team the success that it is! Good luck with the Indy car/F1 dream, and hope you find your true happy place, for you and Blake. Hands down my favorite team from driver, to crew chief and clutch girl. I for one will miss Kaylynn, I think she is wonderful. Remember it’s not goodbye, it’s until we meet again. It's sad to see Kaylynn go but chasing the dream is an awesome thing and I believe Kaylynn will achieve her goals. Kaylynn will have to adapt to the metric system in F1 which is pretty easy really. Wishing Kaylynn nothing but the absolute best in everything she does! Sucks for the team that she's leaving, but such is the nature of things when you're not the owner. (not meant as a slight against Rick in the least) I'll keep watching F1, because as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow, she'll be on one - probably sooner rather than later!
