  • Celtic and Norse Paganism dominated most of Briton and Scandinavia for hundreds of years before the Crusades. Our ancestors would have celebrated marriage in a similar fashion with the Anglo Saxon's adding many of the traditions we see, as the wedding ceremony morphed into the Western church ceremony we're all too familiar with. (Bouquets, Best-men, Honeymoons, Crossing thresholds, Jumping brooms, Binding hands, Saying vows, Feasting, etc.)
Even in South Africa, the progeny of Germanic and British ancestors lives on, reemerging from the ruins of an age of fanatical suppression. More a cultural 're-membering' than a religious ritual, per se, a Pagan wedding honors the benefits of the union of two people in the institution of marriage as a proven team strategy.
Using eclectic elements from respective and relevant Pagan traditions, I facilitate more people who are seeking a unique and authentic concept for their marriage ceremony as well as for all their other rites of passage. Baby naming, Coming of Age, Last Rites.
