The reason why defense types suck in X? Well... Poor shapes, bad weight, their bits have low resistance, and tall ratchets. TT hates defense types. Keep in mind that the heaviest defense type is sphinx cowl at 33 grams, with the lightest attack type is like 34/35 grams I think. TT is biased to attack and hates defense that's the only logical reason.
I support that TT wanted to favor one type during each generation in metal fight the defense types were the best in burst the endurance types and particularly the beys capable of spin steal and in X the attack types are the best thanks to their weight and the Xtreme dash
There needs to be a balance for all bey and so there's a reason for the weight. But I do believe the high resistance but should be given to defense instead of attack.
@carr16k Idea: How about bit burst resistance (BBR) for attack and stamina types are still the same (80 for attack, 20 for stamina), defense types get 40, and balance types get 60.
