Hey you can say what you want but as far as his singing it sounds damn near as good as it did in the 80s yes he's struggling a little bit but that's to be expected with age but there's not much difference in his voice

I saw REO on the high infidelity tour in 1980 ! Kevin is struggling a bit on vocals but hey none of us from this era are teenagers anymore. All in all a great Job. So glad thier still performing and Rocking !

Oh Please... Compared to "many" others his age out there "trying" to tour, (Vince Neil, John Bon Jovi, etc.) he sounds amazing for his age, so give him a break!

As much as I've always loved REO and saw them in concert frequently throughout the years, Kevin has to give it up for sure.

REO is nearing retirement. Styx is far better. Styx should close every show on this tour.

I think they sound very good. They’ve made some adjustments - the song is a little slower and I’m sure they’ve moved it down an octave or whatever that is. And he still clearly pronounces the words. Two thumbs up!

If REO could have followed the blueprint of their first 3 albums, they would have been much bigger than they were. My all time favorite album by them is REO 2 .Listen to it from beginning to end you'll see what I mean.To be perfectly honest, the band took too much of a popish sound with all the ballads, just too many. And, as much as I love ❤ this band, when they put out TAKE IT ON THE 🏃‍♀️ RUN, I RAN!!!!

Honestly, if they didn’t come out with Hi Infidelity which had take it on the run and keep on loving you, they would be done. That was their last chance with the record company. That was the 10th album. Clearly people weren’t catching on to their first three. Personally I think that their 1978 album with time for me to fly and roll with the changes should have been their national break out

@@JJ4848 well I think the album 9 Lives had Back On The ROAD AGAIN. Which was sang by the bassist, was a decent album. While Keep On Loving ❤ You, and Take It On the Run were classic REO 🎵 songs. I guess I was looking for an album that stood out like REO2, 👍 just couldn't ROLL WILL THE CHANGES!!! LOL BTW REO ,had 3 different vocalists, Michael Murphy sang on RIDING THE STORM OUT,which was a decent album 👌, Terry Lutrell was the vocalist on there debut album, which was really good 👍 Kevin CRONIN joined them after the first album.

Love or hate the pop sound with the ballads, that is what made them big bucks and keeps them relevant to this day. That said, the old stuff like Ridin' the Storm Out and Keep Pushin' On for example, is solid gold!

Saw REO in 2017 with Styx and Don Felder. Styx was the highlight of the show. REO stunk up the place. Kevin's voice sounded like a cartoon voice. Amato's guitar was way too loud. REO headlined the show and we left.
