  • This is my story. An explanation of how I was groomed and sexually abused for a number of years when I was 8 years old. I want to show how easily these situations can occur. How children can be easily persuaded and influenced, and keep secrets very well.

    I truly commend you for what you do, Jeremy! Great video! Just a small suggestion, I think it would be more powerful if the cartoon was replaced by the real you in the last phrase. Carry on the amazing work ❤

    There is no defending the abusers, but I do hope that we can encourage these people to step into light and get the treatment they needed so that they would never, ever commit such horrendous act.

    Not to defend him or what he did, but he'll have had a story too. And that's precisely why we need to 'have the conversation', because perhaps if he could have told his story and society had been willing to listen, rationally and compassionately, then what happened might not have happened after all.
