I was there -- way up in the nosebleed section -- for this amazing event. Thank you so much for this excellent video, which captures the energy and spirit of that very special evening. Black Celebration help me get through a very tough personal time 35 years ago -- I will be forever grateful to Martin for his deeply-felt songs, to Dave for his coolness and grace, and yes, to Alan for the sequences and samples we still hear. And several of their new songs are right up with the best they've ever done imop! "Memento mori" reminds us we're all here for an all-too-finite time -- and I'm sincerely glad my time overlapped with these guys'. Their work is a treasure.
