It should not, 18650 cells are pretty safe and fail in quite controlled fashion (venting) as long as vents are not obstructed, but it is always best to take as many precautions as possible with charging Li-ion cells. And be careful since these cells and holders does not have reverse polarity protection in comparison to AA batteries. And connect only one 5v adapter at a time since current might flow between adapters since there are no identical ones with exact same parameters!
