  • Am I ready to be back in a ballet company?! Happy Sunday LBC! In todays video I give you a VERY honest mental health update. We talk body image, ballet, mental health, and just an overall life update. It always feels so nice to just sit and talk to you guys like you are my friends. Talking about ballet and the mental health side of ballet is why I started my channel and I never want to lose sight of that. I also dive into my body image updates and talk about if I am ready to be back in a professional ballet company!! We really touch on everything lol. How has your mental health been these days?!

      My life a year ago was me struggling very VERY hard with not being able to pursue ballet as a professional career anymore and navigating my way into the dance world as a ballet teacher and learning how to shift that focus. :)

    Could you make a video on your favorite “normal”/workout clothes? I loved your ones on leotards so I would love to see some for other clothes too! Like your top in this video is so cute, I love the color!

    Goldieee, I adored this video! I love how raw, real, vulnerable and honest you are!
    Just a random suggestion (that I’m sure you’ve considered), but I think you’d be a perfect dancer theatre performer!! You have the dance part down, and being in ballet for that long there’s definitely an acting side that you end up learning... just a random thought, but I think you’d be brilliant! Although you’ll be brilliant no matter what you do ❤️

    Hey Goldie I hope you are doing well!! I wanted to give you a piece of advice to possibly help you out. Diet, yes diet. I don’t know what types of mental health struggles exactly that you struggled with but our mental health is absolutely impacted by our diet. I noticed you said you didn’t eat a lot of animal foods, well in fact the fat from quality animal foods is exactly what helps calm our anxieties. Try including pork fat, raw butter, beef tallow etc. Grass fed red meat and fatty fish with the skin on will help anyone heal many different issues caused by slow malnourishment over time. Liver as well is so nourishing. These foods will help you retain muscle and recover from the stress of dancing much better. I hope this helps any ballerina watching, don’t fall for the plant based cult agendas it will deteriorate you slowly over time.
