That's how it is. Some just play the game for popularity, many others for fun but generally have the habit of ignoring the texts so they don't bother.
But then there are us who wanna get deeper into the plot and lore.
i literally have not stopped to think about that once because the implications with ingo's presence in hisui and the difference between him and the protagonist in that case-
tbf the game's awful dialogue up to this point and lack of voice acting is a major reason

Volo really did have answers to questions no one was asking the whole game
Questions like: "Who the fuck let From Software invade Gamefreak?" "Why am I back in Vietnam?" And of course "Does this fucking ride ever end?"

I read that, once you catch them, the only difference alpha Pokémon have is their size.
@@DatVideoDoe they also come with higher effort values though. Would be nice though if they included abilities in this game, and with Alpha Pokémon you could train them in Jubilife to get their hidden abilities. That or do that with all Pokémon but make it so Alpha Pokémon can have them from the get go.

If you dont got 14 max revives on u and a tank to absorb a few hits. That 19 level higher pokemon wont do anything for you against volo & giratina
Honestly the 8 pokemon battle was ruthless. I haven't enjoyed a win since Iris. Let's not forget that giratina music🔥🔥🔥
It was not enjoyable. 10+ attempts before I gave up and added 3 legendaries to my team. Then it took another 10 to win

@@theBhavMan I don’t play Pokémon to be challenged. A difficult fight is fine, but being 15 levels under the boss is just tiring. I don’t play Pokémon to try to struggle. I just like the catching and collecting aspect

I remember when I first played Platinum, Cyrus' final battle came down to a close match leaving me with only my Lucario to come in clutch and save the day.
In this game, my fight with Volo was a constant back and forth leaving me with only Lucario to come in clutch and save the day.
And then I had to deal with Giratina immediately afterwards.

alphas are not stronger than regular pokemon they’re just bigger
@@jahfadyer4764 I mean yeah but they start off significantly higher leveled and with some unique moves, so less work to train them
@@jahfadyer4764 Alpha Garchomp is catchable at lvl 85. He out-levels anything else in the entire game

Most of the others I've seen switched around their teamconstantly and used the legendaries they JUST caught, like ........ no wonder they struggled. But in a way that's almost more fun, having a somewhat untrained team.
@@sinceritynature202 A common theme I notice with those who are able to win first time (including myself)
They had full team of higher than level 70 - with good type advantages, or they can take neutral hits.
Also the use of Thunderwave on Giratina is huge plus.
Really normal form Giratina you gotta tank through, origin form you gotta nuke it fast
@@JML689 Something that helped me a lot as well was having a couple "no miss" moves, so that Giratina's "obscured" status wouldn't stop me from hitting it. Ice moves also work wonders on Volo's team and I rarely have seen people on YT carry ice type moves.......
@@sinceritynature202 I take back some of what I said before. I saw another youtuber (men7 something) he had full level 80 team and still flopped it on this fight losing. Being higher level doesn't mean easy win.
@@sinceritynature202 Yep, my Hisuian Samurott was the GOAT against Giratina thanks to Dark Pulse, and I had a Hisuian Goodra in the back with Dragon Pulse (which doesn't miss in this game). My pokes were level 70-72 so it was pretty fair.
Shofu's luck is always something when it comes to the bosses of certain Pokemon games, the fact that he kept hitting Giratina when obscured, Arcanine missing rage fury, the entire Ultra Necrozma Fight where it only used dragon pulse and nothing else, like damn this dude blessed.

Why is giritina the same size as an electavire
Electivire is an alpha.
when you dont run mid pokemon like Luxray and use gods like Scizor, Garchomp, and Electivire then yeah you can win 1st try. While my Lilligant and Goodra did all the work, I still had Samurott, Mamoswine, Zoroark, and Togekiss in the back which all can deal with Giratina lol.
This was me, Goodra was the MVP in that fight lol
Me: Beats the story, and has level 50-60 mons. Does all of the aftergame to this point, has level 60 to 70 mons and struggles with the fight.
Shofu: is smart and gets the naturally strongest Garchomp in the game being level 87 from Icebound falls, and waxes Giratina no problem.
Me: Damn...I’m not doing this right.
