Awesome job. I can't tell you how much it pleases me to see such a professional and talented one at that. Your craftsmanship and skill level in your profession is top notch. Thank you for sharing your videos!
Dude you should be making your own boots. Your work is second to none. You could make your own wedge sole moc toe and probably make a killing! lol. I know who I’ll be contacting for a re sole. I’d be more than happy to send my boots from Tennessee to California for that quality.
Wow very nice job you did. Love that you put stitches in the toe area to the sole, that's shows you care, very nice touch. Thank you for sharing your journey 🙏.
Good job, I would of used a stiff Tampico/ coco bristles brush before I did saddle soap to make sure I wasn't just saturating the dirt deeper into the pores of the leather so i got a better shine at the end result.
Tu eres el mejor en RUclips yo miro muchos diferentes canales y ellos no hacen el trabajo como tu lo hace. Yo te apoyo el canal. The boots always look almost new it's incredible. 👌🏽
Beautiful job on those boots! I'm surprised the gemming held up. I'm doing a pair of Red Wings just like that now and when I got the sole off I noticed the gemming was falling apart. I ended up removing everything from the upper and now I'm working on a new fully leather insole.
I need to replace one foot bed because it broke in improperly because I had my boots tied too tight at the ball. It's extremely uncomfortable but my left boot feels great. I'm okay with paying for the fix as I intend to make them last ten years (Iron Rangers). Will most cobblers do this alteration?
That's a good looking pair of revived boots. If I had any boots worth resoling I'd send them to you. There's nothing here in Ireland that I've seen worth buying let alone restoring.
Best video I’ve seen so far. My boots look the exact same. 3 years 2nd resole with vibram. I’d honestly pick the Goodyear over it. If I knew a cobbler here in Vegas who can use Goodyear instead I’d go with them. Anyways by the look of the shackles on the heel tabs your customer was probably an iron worker. I have a shackle on my left boot and red wings are known for being the go to for structural ironworker boots especially the 8” moc toe that’s a staple. Love them wouldn’t wear any other work boot other than the 877/10877. I enjoyed the video Keep it up brother!
Curious that the saddle soap is not rinsed off, but wiped off with a dry rag. This, undoubtedly leaves a soap residue. Is this good for the leather? Or is the rinse-off bad for the leather?
From Minnesota, home of Red Wings, the finest boots made, greetings! What a fantastic job, Aaron. Really, really quality workmanship! And congrats on your Landis!
Thanks Bryce 🙏🙏 unfortunately the machine broke down 2 weeks later and I ended up buying another one, but I already fixed it and painted it, it’s for sale now 😅😅
Un excelente trabajo, como siempre, pero observo que nunca utilizas mink oil, se debe solo a un gusto personal o a que realmente las cremas que usas son mejores para las pieles del calzado?
Great work Aaron! Why do you use rubber mid-soles? I have seen other cobblers say that a leather mid-sole has better adhesion to the outsole. Just curious. Thanks!
Thank you AGS,usually I never clean the inside!! But sometimes I use my vacuum just to get rid of the dust and that’s it, I’m not sure if that’s what you’re asking 😅
@@AaronG2480 Restoring the boots is a great idea, but they have to get sanitized first. Sounds like the easiest way to catch a foot fungus or other infection.
Mate, that was a pleasure to watch. A craftsman at work.
🙏
I never thought they will look so good at the end. Great job
Love the extra stitches through the front of the white sole. Great job!

Todas las botas llevan cerco y cuál es su función ahí por favor Aaron ?
Seems like the cleaning is the first and only step in making these boot look good. Not counting the new sole work
Will you start including video of you scuffing the midsole and out sole before you apply the glue? They will adhere better if you rough them up.
Great video maestro

How much is a service like this? My brother has a pair of thorogood that are pretty worn out but he loves them.

I don’t know how long, but they were definitely resoled at least once!!!✋🏻

Un consejo que bota me recomiendas que sea cómoda para trabajar gracias buenas noches

love you channel, but I do think that with some saphir renavateur, cream polish and pate de luxe, you can make those uppers shine!

Hey thanks, leather midsoles have an extra charge if they don’t pay for it I have to use rubber!
That’s some good work!
Have you had any serious cuts/injuries a lot of blades ,cutters ,monster sewing machines.
You are craftsman
I haven’t, thank goodness
Only small ones.

Hey Aron I have a question for you, Do you recommend conditioning the insoles of this boots?
Not really, but you can Definitely use a bit of minke oil once in a blue moon!! Cause leather conditioner makes them slippery!!!

Nice to see someone using another brand than Vibram. And stitching the front of the sole is the detail that gives the bonus point ! 👏🏻👌🏻

A touch of sanding on the toe and then redyeing would've done the trick! Otherwise great work
How much does something like that cost?
$150

@@AaronG2480 what kind of sole you’re using?
On this I used the Goodyear tampa soles
They las a little longer than Vibram Christy
