Mate, that was a pleasure to watch. A craftsman at work.
🙏
I like how you conditioned them before putting on the welt
Wow! Your workmanship is impressive my friend! Absolutely beautiful job!👌😎👍
Love the extra stitches through the front of the white sole. Great job!
great job on those - you saved them for sure.
After all the videos of yours I have watched, I'm still amazed. Job well done, Aaron!
Thank you MAB 🙏🙏

Dude you should be making your own boots. Your work is second to none. You could make your own wedge sole moc toe and probably make a killing! lol. I know who I’ll be contacting for a re sole. I’d be more than happy to send my boots from Tennessee to California for that quality.
Thanks 🙏
Well done good job 👍
🙏
muy chido tus jales!! si eres maestro!
Gracias!!
Wow very nice job you did. Love that you put stitches in the toe area to the sole, that's shows you care, very nice touch. Thank you for sharing your journey 🙏.
Awesome job. I can't tell you how much it pleases me to see such a professional and talented one at that. Your craftsmanship and skill level in your profession is top notch. Thank you for sharing your videos!

Yea brotha enjoyed this video !

Nice
Beautiful job on those boots! I'm surprised the gemming held up. I'm doing a pair of Red Wings just like that now and when I got the sole off I noticed the gemming was falling apart. I ended up removing everything from the upper and now I'm working on a new fully leather insole.
Thanks,
When we don’t have option, we have to replace the foot bed as well!!!
Cheers!!
I need to replace one foot bed because it broke in improperly because I had my boots tied too tight at the ball. It's extremely uncomfortable but my left boot feels great. I'm okay with paying for the fix as I intend to make them last ten years (Iron Rangers). Will most cobblers do this alteration?
Good job, I would of used a stiff Tampico/ coco bristles brush before I did saddle soap to make sure I wasn't just saturating the dirt deeper into the pores of the leather so i got a better shine at the end result.
The boots always look almost new it's incredible. 👌🏽
Best video I’ve seen so far. My boots look the exact same. 3 years 2nd resole with vibram. I’d honestly pick the Goodyear over it. If I knew a cobbler here in Vegas who can use Goodyear instead I’d go with them. Anyways by the look of the shackles on the heel tabs your customer was probably an iron worker. I have a shackle on my left boot and red wings are known for being the go to for structural ironworker boots especially the 8” moc toe that’s a staple. Love them wouldn’t wear any other work boot other than the 877/10877. I enjoyed the video Keep it up brother!
Thanks Trav!!!
it lasts just a bit more than Vibram but, something is better than nothing!!😅
Muchas gracias! Un gran saludo para usted también!
From Minnesota, home of Red Wings, the finest boots made, greetings! What a fantastic job, Aaron. Really, really quality workmanship! And congrats on your Landis!
Thanks Bryce 🙏🙏 unfortunately the machine broke down 2 weeks later and I ended up buying another one, but I already fixed it and painted it, it’s for sale now 😅😅
Otro milagro más amigo saludos
Gracias primo!! Saludos para el rancho!!✋🏻✋🏻
Te aventastes!
Great video ... handy to know about Goodyear sole lasting longer than Vibram.
Nice job bro
🙇♂️🙇♂️✋🏻
Que bien se escucha la nueva máquina!
Si lo notaste?, tienes buen oido 😅 saludos!👋👋
La dejaste al punto
Esas si quedaron muy original
✋🏻✋🏻
That's a good looking pair of revived boots. If I had any boots worth resoling I'd send them to you. There's nothing here in Ireland that I've seen worth buying let alone restoring.
Thanks!!
I didn’t know you were that far!
👍
Deff a Union Ironworkers boot right there!!
Curious that the saddle soap is not rinsed off, but wiped off with a dry rag. This, undoubtedly leaves a soap residue. Is this good for the leather? Or is the rinse-off bad for the leather?
Great work Aaron! Why do you use rubber mid-soles? I have seen other cobblers say that a leather mid-sole has better adhesion to the outsole. Just curious. Thanks!
Hey thanks, leather midsoles have an extra charge if they don’t pay for it I have to use rubber!
Will you start including video of you scuffing the midsole and out sole before you apply the glue? They will adhere better if you rough them up.
Nice to see someone using another brand than Vibram. And stitching the front of the sole is the detail that gives the bonus point ! 👏🏻👌🏻
✋🏻
Can you do the vibram some on a Thorogood Wedge some Moc Toe?
Seems like the cleaning is the first and only step in making these boot look good. Not counting the new sole work
Where do you get the new welt material from and what width is it
That’s some good work!
Have you had any serious cuts/injuries a lot of blades ,cutters ,monster sewing machines.
You are craftsman
I haven’t, thank goodness
Only small ones.
Thanks!! For watching!!
How much is a service like this? My brother has a pair of thorogood that are pretty worn out but he loves them.
those boots are bit up but you made them beautiful !!! great job Aaron my Primo.is that your new LANDIS MODEL K?
Thanks Armando, yes it is I still have to paint it , you’ll see how it’ll look 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻

You do great work on the outside of the boots. What do you do to clean up the inside of the boots?
Thank you AGS,usually I never clean the inside!! But sometimes I use my vacuum just to get rid of the dust and that’s it, I’m not sure if that’s what you’re asking 😅
@@AaronG2480 Restoring the boots is a great idea, but they have to get sanitized first. Sounds like the easiest way to catch a foot fungus or other infection.
love you channel, but I do think that with some saphir renavateur, cream polish and pate de luxe, you can make those uppers shine!
Thanks,
We can do anything possible as long as the client pays for it!!😅😅
By the way this boots are not meant to be shiny!
If they have a small hole on the toe can you still storm welt and resole them?
Yes sir, we can always put a patch !!
Do you know how long the guy had the boots and if he had them previously resoled?
I don’t know how long, but they were definitely resoled at least once!!!✋🏻
Hey Aron I have a question for you, Do you recommend conditioning the insoles of this boots?
Not really, but you can Definitely use a bit of minke oil once in a blue moon!! Cause leather conditioner makes them slippery!!!
@@AaronG2480 thanks so much for the quick response, I always appreciate channels that answer their subscribers questions, thanks a lot
@@djchino your welcome happy New Year!!
@@AaronG2480 same to you and your family
Where are you located
Greit, burron buts
A touch of sanding on the toe and then redyeing would've done the trick! Otherwise great work
How much does something like that cost?
$150
Some English subtitles would be nice to help understand the full process and steps. I respect the drive tho.
bro you need a stab proof apron, im shitting myself hoping that knife doesnt slip when ur cutting the threads on the sole lol
😅😅 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻 don’t worry my man but I’ll keep it in mind, thanks for watching!!!
What’s is your location? Give me a quote for RW 1907 repair like this.
5960 Whittier Blvd Los Angeles California 90022 $140 you’d have to add the shipping costs
@@AaronG2480 what kind of sole you’re using?
On this I used the Goodyear tampa soles
They las a little longer than Vibram Christy
Thanks to idiots who don't take care of shoes, this guy will always have a job.
You should did an apprentice. Your skills should be passed on.
Do consider making longer videos now and then.
