That idea about mixing the ambient sound with the vocal from the mic 2 is genius. I don’t have a Pocket 3 yet but am considering a purchase. I’m often in places where I want the ambient sounds in stereo but might want to bolster the vocal. I had already thought about mixing the two soundtracks (Pocket 3 and Mic 2 ) but the genius part of your idea is activating the mis 2’s NR feature. Thanks and subbed

I use the Osmo Pocket 3 to shoot all of the videos for my RUclips channel. The quality is amazing and it's so easy to take with me on the go. I highly recommend it to any content creator.

Great help. I've been using pocket a couple weeks. One thing I have not been able to deal with is tendency of videos being adversely impacted by bright skys above an object. It shows on videos. Any advice ro reduce this?
Really impressed with the Pocket 3. It has more uses beyond just Vlogging. The 10 bit, 1 inch sensor makes it WAY more capable than the Pocket 2 indoors. It can also get audio input from 2 dji mic 2's. I use it in place of a much heavier and bulkier gimble with a mirrorless camera and lens for professional shoots where I need smooth movement. I use it with the 4th axis stabilizer from Scotty Makes Stuff. Great unit.
For better walking stability (up/down shake) do you reckon do have the Pocket 3 on vertical or horizontal?

There is one thing that I've failed to solve however - how do you shoot a static footage longer than half an hour without the camera turning off automatically? I haven't found a way to disable the auto power off feature, and the camera always turn off after 30 minutes.
What are the best settings to get the best video quality on the pocket3? Should i keep it 4k30? Also is it worth going for d logging if i dont intend to change much in my post editing? Just applying the lut from djibwould bring me to the same colours i would get without using that setting in the first place?

Is there any way to hold the camera head in one direction only or to halt the gimbal movement like in Action 4, I mean when I want to take a photo of a dish in a restaurant, I don't want to gimbal to move in any direction, I want it to look straight like the rear screen.

Hi Matthew, I have been watching many of your videos over the past few months. They are indeed very informative and explain the details of the equipment in a simple manner. I have viewing your recommended accessories for the Dji Pocket 3 and in particular the Freewell mega pack of filters. Having reviewed the comments on Amazon can you please confirm the following.
1. Are these filters stackable
2. Can the Pocket 3 be turned off while Freewell filters are fitted without jamming the gimbal when returning to the park position.

Hi I know it’s a month old this video but Ive just purchased a pocket 3 and the mimo app connects fine, but no matter what codec I film in no files will download to mimo .. I have a I phone 13 pro max 256 model and it’s doing my head in..😩🤯🤯

Great Tips Matthew, pocket 3's one of the worst feature is while recording you can't change the white balance, exposure iso in manuel recording mode that's kinda worst, but in auto mode its very good tho. pocket 3 is the best! cancel recording is one of the good update

Why do I only have 4 settings features to select from when swiping right to left: Exposure, WB, Format, and Focus Mode only? I just purchased my Osmo 3 and uploaded the firmware. Did they remove features with the latest firmware? Hmm I think your video answered my question--that I need to download the firmware for my microphone
Could be the mode you have it in, I keep mine on manual

for me, the function of deleting a started recording is totally unimportant. In times of huge SD-cards, space is absolutely no issue and even from an unwanted clip, there still might be some scenes, which might be useful. 5:45 the focus transition is a bit harsh, but I like it and I slow it down in post. Maybe, a coming firmware improves it.

I tried to connect Mic2 to IPhone 14Pro, but recordied voice was bad quality. How to up voice settings on IPhone? Who knows?
