For ethnic shopping, you should have gone to Delhi haat. It also has restaurants offering dishes from all states of India. You would have surely enjoy that. 😊 Also, its better to take butter tandoori chapatis instead of butter naans. Most places do not cook naans properly and once it gets cold, it loses its texture and gets difficult to chew. The naan you had was of very poor quality. You will never be disappointed by butter tandoori chapatis.
Please come back to India and visit mumbai.goa,kerela,hampi, and please please you must visit the himalayas to really see the contrast....maybe Ladakh or Kasol and Manali ,Nainital and Dhramshala (where Dalai Lama lives)...or maybe the other side of Himalayas in the north east in Sikkim and Assam and Meghalaya...and you can also visit Bhutan from there
@@RichandKirsten i highly recommend visiting the north east India from where i am from..culturally we are far different than the mainland India and if you want to come please come during Cherry Blossom festival in Shillong in Meghalay....its a sight to behold like in Japan

Hi! Sadly not long enough. We spent about a week there at the beginning of March 2020 and had to leave in a quick hurry due to the pandemic. We had plans to spend 6 weeks there. Hopefully we get the chance some day and return to properly see India.
@@RichandKirsten Thanks for replying back. A week in India is a “warm up” to get used to all the idiosyncrasies and I am sorry that your trip was cut short. I am glad you were able to get out when you could and we still will be living in this new “normal” for a while. I however look forward to seeing more videos from you two which were a breath of fresh air. I am hoping to go back to india in October to see my parents. Fingers crossed 🤞

You should watch psycho travellers vlog on India in fact anywhere.. You get info but you get to live the holiday.. So chill.. I'm waiting for this nonsense to cool down it will take the world probably a year to be normal so I'm doing India for a year that's the plan and yet I'll only cover 2% of it.. 2022 that's hopefully when we're all good to go

You should have visited Akshardham temple, the newest and perhaps the largest land mark in Delhi. As for many people it is better than Taj Mahal.
