    The page works! after you connect your EpicGames account with GIthub, in Github (and also in your mail) you'll see an invitation to join "EpicGames organization". After you accept the invitation, try to reload the page or just enter github.com/EpicGames/BlenderTools again.

    Wondering if instead of force deleting in unreal, you can right click on the asset and select "re-import". I believe it's a pretty robust operation that might update stuff like a new skeleton, new material? Thanks for the excellent tutorial.

    I'm actually really confused about the second part of the tutorial (character rigging for UE4). Could you make a short, dedicated follow-up guide showing how to import a mixamo character, multiple animations as actions and exporting it to UE4? Without the (for me confusing) explanations and really just "to do this, do that, then you get this". Would be awesome!

    The main problem is that modeling in blender at a 0.01 scale is tedious and many tools go wonky and not to mention the clipping plane issues so my tip here is model at blender default scale and then export it at 0.01 scale and re import it back. I know it's involving another operation but believe me you will thank me later.

      I'd argue that it's better to have 0.01 scale the new default in Blender, and adjust clip distances accordingly. It saved more time and less prone to transformation errors.

      @@MakotoIchinose If it was only about the clipping planes i wouldn't bother that much but it is also affecting modifiers, boolean, physic and cloth and sculpt brushes.

    Still having the same problem then without this plugin... I got a shader that puts grass on top with grass just down sides a little bit but on the ue4 shape cube this works but on the blender cubes its got grass on top... 3 sides pure dirt then grass on the other side, so i dont know how to fix this... Just trying to make a simple minecraft style texture to work with at the moment i say minecraft so you know what im trying to do with the material but its pure grass on all 3 sides is that my material coords? is that the uvs not facing right when exporting from blender? please help... Trying to make a platformer and i need higher poly count cubes...

    I'm still getting the error with the skeleton being sent to Unreal. It sends everything except the animation. I've deleted the folders from Unreal and even renamed the Armature in Blender and it's still not working.

    Great tutorial! Thanks! Is there a way to add multiple animations for the same object to UE4 with this method? For example a running animation and a walking animation for the same character. Because it always replaces the old animation right?

      2 steps, go to your account setting in epic launcher and link your account with github from there, then go to github.com/epicgames and accept their invitation. Only then you would see the blendertools.

      Got it, when you finish linking your github account with Epic account, then you go to Epic's github github.com/EpicGames/ and you'll see on top of the screen an invitation for you to get access on private files, you just need to accept it.

    Will this work for UE4.13 sorry I have a old laptop and 13 it's his limit at the moment .
    Also he has a really old video cart who is really useless when it comes down to dealing with good rendering .

    For anyone experiencing the problem where the pipeline option does not appear in the blender menu
    I found installing addon send2ue_1.7.1 works.
    Later versions do not work for some reason.
    My specs
    Windows 10
    Blender 2.93.6
    Unreal Engine 4.27.1

    I get a "Could not find Unreal Editor instance" error. Plus for some reason it seems I can't have both UE2rigify AND send2unreal plugins enables. One disables the other. Even with just the send2unreal plugin though I can't send anything to my editor. Does anyone have a fix?

      I dunno about the plugins disabling each other but, about the "cannot find instance" error, I was having the same problem, you have to go:
      Edit > Project settings > search "python" > Enable Remote Execution.
      You don't need to restart and it should start working right away.

    This rigify setup is not convenient at all... Epic should buy the autorig pro addon and build from there.

    why i'm I always having problems that no one have ? 404 pages not fund in GITHUB, so cant get the addons, even with a VPN, Tipping "Blender to unreal" dont find anything all the GITHUBS links are fucked up for me ><
    NVM DONT FORGET TO ACCEPT THE INVIT IN YOUR MAILS "TO JOIN EPIC GAMES"

      You have to link your Epic account with GitHub first (and get access to Epic's repo), otherwise you get an error 404.

    This is good , But the 'Blender to Unreal Engine 4 ' Plugin by Loux Xavier(BleuRaven) offers great features like setting up Custom LOD's within Blender Itself ,More Options for Parenting and Animations .

      Read your comment and was like "hang on, I've definitely seen sth like that..." -> turns out there is but it's a $60+ add-on ... however, Jim Kroovy, the guy behind Mr. Mannequin Tools recommended it in one of his vids: ruclips.net/video/mcPkFqocrHQ/видео.html so at least it seems decent.

      There is no harm in trying to convert people to a better software. Blender is better at modelling and I have used many applications including Maya and Max and l can say without a doubt that blenders tools add-ons etc are much better. I am sorry if that fact hurts you. It is what it is. For decades blender has been mocked and ridiculed from Maya/Max users but now that blender is surpassing the Industries best software some of our massive community would like to mock them back. It seems Maya/Max users have indeed started something that will go on for a very long time.
