Ferdinand is a theatre kid and a Manuela stan confirmed. I actually really like this ship. :> He probably loves her despite her alcoholism. And let's be honest, Manuela deserves a man who would cherish and spoil her, that'd be Ferdinand. They probably filled their home with music and their children probably grew up musically inclined, familiar with the operas their mother used perform.
Naah, I'd make her more like an opera soprano and give her a second chance at the opera, but as a test to see if she's still up for it, if she still has it again then maybe with Ferdinand as a tenor or something like that, backed by Dorothea to help them out, after all, Dorothea's also a good opera singer in her own rights and she's still young with also have good potential herself, and she wants to hit the stage, it'd be a big break for Dorothea... Of course hopefully, Manuela too for a chance to making a comeback at what she enjoys best, even though she might be past her prime but I'm not sure if she''s still capable to make herself great again with Ferdinand and Dorothea to help her out... It might be a win win solution for the three of them...
Yeah, it'd be nice, but I'd send her to Vienna, their music academy's well known for having produced great music composers, opera singers among others, Bethowen, Mozart and many others went there and we still listen to their music even though it's been around for centuries... We already know a lot of heavy metal bands, but a lot of them found their roots in operas, such as Richard Wagner himself, well known for composing the Ride of the Valkyries, one of the greatest songs in history....
I can still sing, you know? I sang Edelgard a song to Edelgard in our C Support! I also sing to the Professor when we reunite during the Timeskip (if I am recruited)!
Mmmm, Manuela is quite the cougar, ain't she? I can see how she likes the young ones quite like Ferdinand. I bet he'd be the one who can make Manuela sing in the bedroom if you know what I mean. *wink wink* I know that sounds NSFW-ish and all, but come on, this is Manuela we're talking about. ;)
I hate how Ferdinand changes drastically. At first sight he's just a silly noble-von-Aegir-your-*ss. And in some supports he's... just a normal guy from the beginning. I mean, look at Sylvain. Step by step he opens to us in some supports, but in most of them he wears his mask and it feels natural. Look at Lorenz, he's indeed the silly noble-Hellman-Gloucester-your-*ss 24/7 and changes unwilligly. He may lost his face only when caught by surprise. Ferdinand, on the other side, feels just strange for me. Every time he's different without reason. An arrogant noble in the morning, a normal guy in the evening. Can't get my head around it.
Nah. He reacts differently to different people. He uses his status as a noble to encourage other nobles he feels are lacking to be their very best noble self. He is caring in a deeper level when he feels general politeness is not enough. He is competitive towards Edelgard and fights with Hubert because they're both supposed to be his coworkers for the rest of his life. Manuela inspired him as a kid. He's just a three dimensional character
I think Ferdinand is the most adorable (save for Ashe) out of the boys because he is dense. Very much so. But never rude. He is prideful with Hubert, Edel and Byleth, but he grows into a great man. I see in him and Dorothea how they view the world around them after 5 years. Regarding Sylvain, honestly, I think what's missing was him coming to terms with the fact he does not like women. Well, not only women. Sure he likes flirting and surely he learns how to treat them properly, but I think he does not like the idea of being with one. It is just a role he has to play because of nobility and crest. I think he wants to be loved in a way that women cannot love him. I'm saying women because he especifically mentions "women".
Marrying your childhood idol.
Well done, Lord Aegir.
Ferdinand: I am Ferdinand van Aegir!
Manuela: I'm drunk...
4:13 When Ferdinand is selected for Choir practice, he claims that his voice will make a pegasus dance with joy. His voice is beautiful.
This woman down right took over his initial idea. Well played Manuela, well played.
That said, this support was really sweet.

He's gonna call their daughter his "princess" if they have a girl lol

4:14 That song is the song Dorothea mentioned in the Shez C support
I want to see the sword dance and the full song ahhhhh
Ferdinand is such a puppy
I can't deal ♥
I will pay any heavy metal band handsomely to make a full version of Ferdinand's song.
Benjamin Danielsen ikr

Ferdie sings like an Angel
Ferdinand’s got some real game.
Imagine calling a character "The Songstress" but she can't sing at all. 😂
She's much better in her support with Gilbert.
She can sing
But the translations and the way the lyrics fit into the songs... Eh.
Well, it is more theatre oriented than a song itself. But I see your point.

I guess that's the reason why I liked him pretty much. He's not just some stuck up noble.

I never thought Ferdinand was arrogant. Prideful, yeah maybe, but not arrogant.
Sylvain sucks. He needed more A supports. Were they trying to make him the Sumia of Three Houses?
