Professor Manuela is the only character that I almost liked all of her support conversations. That is a first for me and hearing it acted out makes it better. Especially when it is Veronica Taylor, that makes it even better. I was raised with the pokemon franchise [shows, video games, etc.] and I can hear essences of her voices with Ash, May, and Delia - Ash's mom.

Honestly for me she was one of the biggest surprises. Her worry of growing old alone and being bitter about people around her finding love is to real. I expected the typical I wanna get married type. But the why makes her so much deeper. Her support with lorence touches on it the most. Her va is just icing on the cake as an old pokemon fan.

EDIT: Manuela/Hanneman is the best. No questions. I'm torn. I really like the Manuela/Dorothea pairing, but the Dorothea/Petra pairing is even better. But Manuela needs a good pairing. And she'd be a great stepmother to Flayn... But she and Seteth don't quite have that chemistry... yet. She's rather pushy, and he's rather obstinate. They could be good moderating partners for each other... but it's just a matter of making it that far. Maybe Flayn would convince him to lighten up and give her a chance beyond his first impression. And give her an outside, non-male perspective on what could help win a guy like Seteth over.
I mean, she is extremly fast and is able to do anything Petra or Ingrid can do with addition of being able to use magic. Considering she can use physical or magical weapons easily along with having an even base growth rate in her strength and magic stats along with having the second highest speed growth in the game, I'd say she's one of the best units to eventually promote into a mortal savant.

@@toshio1334 Trickster works depending on what you want her to do in battle. The growths mainly support being fast and accurate, and it also cuts all of her spell uses in half. I'd personally go Myrmidon -> Swordmaster -> Mortal Savant or Myrmidon -> Swordmaster -> Trickster. Her max strength is higher than her max magic so she'll always find more use from the sword classes. I recommend going the swordmaster route before you decide on her final class so she'll be able to have better growths for her strength. Either way for the class you pick, she'll be really fast and will have a good dexterity stat for accuracy and crits as well. In my last playthrough she had around 50 in her speed. As a mortal savant, having swordfaire and black tomefaire will help her out with damage, though as a trickster she'll be able to unlock doors and chests for free and will be harder to hit. Her HP growths are really good either way so she'll be able to take a hit better than Petra or Ingrid.
@@toshio1334 Manuela's unique parts of her spell list is more focused on utility than straight healing. Ward helps out units who are weak to magic or to buff a resistance tank, silence counters any mage who doesn't have insealable magic, and warp is useful for moving a unit around. Her reason spell list isn't great, but it's good for what it is as her weakness and if you get it to A rank she'll unlock bolting which is a really good long ranged spell that's kinda like meteor. The only other unit that gets this spell not counting the DLC units is Hilda.

I think that’s an intentional issue. Despite being successful as a world renowned opera singer now teaching in the top academy training future leaders of the world, she still sees herself as a failure for not finding love. Even in today’s world women are pressured to marry and have children, and are insulted for not wanting to do those things
