Lets hear the story
I'll film something this weekend
@@blownhemi awesomeee
Great job Scotty, the 13s for $1300 days are long gone... More like 12s for $12k these days 😂
It certainly feels like that sometimes. Hopefully we can do something similarly budget orientated.
More like rolling shell for 12k
I spent a third of that just getting a stock motor in from Japan, let alone upgrades to the turbo or beefier internals.
A BA. With a LOT of weight reduction could possibly come close but it would no longer be a street car.
I’m not talking about as drastic as the Territory that Carnage did was.
@jamesforge8107 you definitely couldn't do it as a street car. 13sfor $1300 always involved massive weight reduction
We want the stories SCOTTY TELL US THE STORIES!!!!
13’s for $1300 is one of the first series I ever followed on youtuve
should do some stuff together you two.
Stories for sure Scotty
You might have to get your mower working Scotty!
And get rid of the ivy, that shit will root into your mortar and fuck shit up. And then crawl up into your eves and roof space.
Let's hear the story/journey Scotty always interested mate!!
Scotty you are cool as, the street machine stuff forces ya to build things for views, Scotty's garage builds things for grins 😄 you're the man
Project bluebird was great. Cheap car, cheap mods and relatable. Not many of us can afford to slot a 427 into anything but we can afford to do a few things to a falcon six. Grass roots is where it's at.
I'll never forget the episode of 13s for 1300 when the drop saw blade exploded, and a little bit of poo came out, that was pure comedy and most of those videos helped me build my first skid car
Haha, yeah she went off with a bang
Yea brother it’s good for your mental health to Finnish your projects 😮I bet it’s been lingering in the back of your mind love your work ❤
It definitely has
Can't wait to see what you're gonna do with the channel Scotty! I'm a massive fan and I just love what you do and your style. Can we get a Scotty backyard cleanup video? haha
Are you sure anyone wants to see that?
I hear ya mate. Working in the car game from Mon-Fri makes you want to forget them for a while.
Super keen to follow the progress of SG again and cant wait to see those home projects on the road !!!
Looking forward to Scottygarage again, I used to watch a lot of your budget builds. I would love to hear the whole story of your life even if it’s an hour long.
Yeah buddy!! 🎉 excellent news. We are looking forward to upcoming episodes. Cheers
@brianekstrom2855 thanks mate
So glad you are back. I only found this channel a few years ago and watched 13’s for $1300 and he big block Ute build.
I have been a fan of your work since Slick 6 Packs and also the V6 Vengeance Commodore
Please be careful not to overdo it and burn yourself out working on two channels
Very conscience of burnout, but to be honest sitting on the couch being non productive has been terrible for my mental health. I like to achieve and hopefully with support from my fans we can make this happen
@@blownhemi I think it's a great move, definitely along for the ride!
Love that you kept the Trolvo. What a weapon!
We love you Scotty your the best
Oh sick you have the trolvo, you legend!!
Love this Scotty, all your old videos are awesome. Bring on the valiant videos and your fantastic personality!
You have helped me start my Monday with a smile 😊. Thankyou for sharing your personal life with all of us.
You have also hit the nail on the head with us Victorians during Covid with regards to the weekends feeling like Groundhog Day on repeat! 🎉
Yeah, Covid really threw us all for a loop and while I never got infected that was when I started my online gaming addiction.
Covid screwed the world and basically all of us are now starting to finally come out the other side and wanting to get off the couch.
love ya scotty. i was 17 when i got my first car and used to talk back in the old moparmarket forums back in the day 20 years ago. look forward for new content.
Wow, that's a throwback to the past
Awesome Scotty I'm onboard! Thank you for all you do.
Yeah Scotty
We wanna hear the full story!!!!
Looking forward to see more of the trolvo
Full history please scotty.
Working on cars and playing video games.. that's living scotty all you need is a couple cold ones 😎🍻
Share you story Scotty we would love to hear it!!
Have been following you for a very long time. The 13s for $1300 was an excellent series. Dad’s Ute is certainly my favourite. Thanks for the fantastic content Scotty!
Great to see you back on this channel i watched all the older stuff can't wait to see what you have for us in future. bring on the next version of 13's for $1300 maybe 10's for $5000-$10000
Love to see the Trolvo get some love ❤️
The more I think about this the more excited I get to see what you are gonna do! Just like the good ol days! Onya Scotty
All the best with Scott's Garage, regards Howard, New Zealand
Thanks mate, lots of love for our Kiwi cousins
All the stories Scotty! 👍👍
Awesome having ya back bruv and hell yea love to hear ya story and 100% hell bloody yes bring back the 13s for $1300 fully miss that series
Nice work. Looking forward to your future vids and watching channel grow.
Much appreciated!
Definitely want to see your full story, where your passion for cars came from and all, can’t wait to see some content from you, will definitely be a Patreon supporter
That's an even bigger story. I'll talk about Automotive Media career first, then if people want to gear the OG Scotty stuff we deep dive into that
Good on ya scotty , glad to see theres going to be more of your content from home and your own projects again aswell as carnage . Going to to be busy mate hahaha but nothing you cant do !! , been watching you for years and the amount of knowlege ive gained has been awsome .
Thanks mate, it's better for my mental health as well. I'm happier right now than I've been in years
Been waiting 4 years for this Scotty.
Just signed up for the patreon, always willing to support all the Aussie content creators where I can 😊
Thanks mate, you just tipped us over $300. It's a small start, but we're getting there.
I always wondered if you were married and had kids, now knowing you have a child that's wheelchair bound I tip my hat to you Scotty that's not easy for any parent regardless of status, good luck mate ❤from Thailand 🇹🇭
Subbed Scotty, love your videos!!! Keep em coming! Yes we wanna hear the whole story...
I think im older than a lot of fans on youtube. Sydney dyno days with CAVOA springs to mind with dvd sitting in cabinet. Old hemi orange turbo wagon. Slick6packs days. Looking forward to more Scotty'sgarage.
Yep, that was a lifetime ago
Yeah for us all mate
Yeah mate 🍻love to hear your story
Winginit Motorsports and Scotty's garage crossover? 🫣 a friendly 12s for 1200 challenge would be great 😎
@@Stocko113 oh let’s goooo !!!
YESSS SCOTTY!! I’ve been watching the old lockdown wagon videos just this week to get my head back into my HG kingswood wagon….. So keen to see it and your other projects
We're in !!!
Now, to convince you to build an Early Commodore Hahahaha... Love ya work mate. 😀
Great to see you getting this back up and running again, so I subscribed and looking forward to see your projects. Am curious on what you going to do with the Trolvo, so that will be cool to see that 👍
Just joined the Patreon Scotty. Good times ahead! I didn't know people actually dropped in to the Carnage workshop, I drive past sometimes but haven't got the boldness to just walk in! Best of luck to ya mate.
Great to see you back mate! An old school RUclips legend in the genre!
Having a biography about Scotty would be awesome and where you came from. Hope you have an awesome week.
Bloody good stuff, Scotty. As someone who is now part of the street machine furniture, I’m keen to hear your story 🔥
I remember that shed from many moons ago, i bought a LPG tank off you ! Keep it up mate!
The whole story scotty. Everyone loves what ya do.
I shot it edited it this weekend it's an hour long but quite interesting. Even I was interested in watching it..and I knew the story already
@@blownhemi haha solid work
Been here since the early days. So keen for new scottys garage episodes! Easily the most underrated channel on youtube! Good luck Scotty! You deserve millions of subs 🤙
A million subscribers would be nice.
Great to see Australia's answer to Mike Finnegan is back!
I've met Mike a couple times, he's genuinely a nice guy
Love the ideas Scotty…
Hope this succeeds
This is AWESOME Scotty. I first subbed when you started 13's for 13. And loved that series.
Looking forward too the restart of the channel, and what you've got planned mate. Would love to see a short video showing bits of your journey to where you're at now.
About time you got your arse back in gear!... Onya mate.
I've been watching you on Carnage for years Scotty, I absolutely love the channel, I've been pissed a couple of times when you have been forced to sell and change things because of street machine.
You make the carnage show, and you're the reason why most people watch it, especially for your knowledge and humour and show the goods and the bads along the way.
Keep up the awesome work Scotty. I'm super excited to see some awesome content on Scotty's Garage, and I'll definitely be going back and watching some of your old stuff
Onya Scotty,
Drove past the work shop the other day while in the street getting parts for the good ol Xe Ghia , keep up the good work !
With most enthusiasts feeling the pinch of Albo economics, a revisit to more budget builds like 13's for $1300 would be great
I agree, I think it needs to happen.
Good on ya Scotty, 👍 subscribed
Such a humble guy from the start Scotty and now we need to know more 🥰 family first and Scotty's Garage will flow greatly I say ... organisation is key we all know this and your on the right track, certainly will support you and your channel, Dads ute takes the shed podium. Lock the gate and start filming brother 🏁
Would love to see some v6 commodore stuff again like the old days
I created a patreon account and signed up with the fan choice package. I have never been a patreon for any channel previously but you've got me on board Scotty! #member No:70 I believe 👍
Thanks mate, I must admit, this whole patreon deal is new to me. I'm blown away with the response so far, and I plan to do everything I can to repay everyone's faith with good content.
Good to see you back mate!
Love it Scotty. Feels very back to basics, grass roots sort of stuff. Remember the 13s for 1300 series well. Seems like getting up off the couch and getting active will also be good for your mental and physical health. Do what works best for you and the family.❤
I'll be honest, I'm happier right now, then I've been in a while. So many people have been sending out positive vibes. My family are behind me in this 100%, because while I'm committing 100% of the Pattern support to the channel, other earnings through RUclips and eventual Merch sales can benefit them.
Hell yeah I'm pumped Scotty's Garage is back. 🤩
4L60e Shift Kit install video for sure, no one can complain if its on your channel. 😏
I did one of those on Carnage
@@blownhemi holy crap did I think I missed an upload. 🤯
@@islasdad5775 it was in one of the Supermang videos
@@blownhemi Yep I missed an upload. 🤦♂️
Maybe next time I walk past the croc garden and the radio station and see ya up a couple levels I won't be fan-boy awe struck and shake your hand. 🙂
Been watching a lot of David Vizard recently. Would love to see a FG NA Barra with head porting and the right cams (LCA, overlap and duration). Everyone goes straight to the turbos which we know are awesome - however with a competent builder and tuner the NA can be awesome too.
Yeah wanna hear the story!
Damn after watching this Scotty I feel like I’ve been around your vids for a long time, from 13for1300, then to the good ol dads Val, then the budget vn from memory. There’s been a lot, and will be many many more to come
Nice to see you again. Anything with a Barra I will watch. Love the Gull. Good on you Scotty.
Just subscribed to scotty’s garage
Keen to go back and see your old stuff
Looking forward to seeing you do grassroots style cars
Had enough of the big dollar builds
They are out of reach for normal car guys
Thanks for sharing scotty
There's a place for all kinds of budgets, but I get that not everyone wants a big budget build
RUclips makes you liable for things you say.. great motivation sometimes to share your project..
great job 🙌🏽
Kinda curious as to what you mean in the first part of that comment
@@blownhemi just mean when you say your plans out loud it helps you get motivated.. like you said, you had things you could be doing at home but crept into a comfy routine at home and your keen to get into your own channel again.. so telling us of your plans on RUclips helps motivate yourself.. no malice Scotty.. you got a fan hear..
iv just noticed that feeling myself on my small channel. 🫶🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽
Woo Hoo Good stuff Scotty! Yes definitley tell the story! I joined RUclips in 2006 too. Had to resubcribe to this channel, used to watch you years ago!
Thanks for rejoining mate
@blownhemi No worries at all! Joined Tier Two on Patreon too.
I remember watching your channel way back Scotty. Great to see you giving it a go again had plenty of laughs.
Thanks George
Looking forward to the show
Can't wait for the journey
Would be cool to see a Nitrous only build. Build a budget motor/trans combo specifically for nitrous. Perhaps something like an old WH Statesman with an LS1? See how fast it can go with just nitrous as a power adder.
Since the whole covid pandemic a lot of people (myself included )are stuck in that mindset!!! On the couch with the the CBF attitude…. Been trying to get back into the garage and get going too, so see you might motivate me
Hopefully I can motivate a lot of people, and but I still need them to sit on the couch and watch me :)
Just found this channel awesome work scotty
Welcome aboard!
Right on Scotty! Excited for the new journey, supporting from the states🤙🏻
The only reason I am on sm is because of Scotty’s garage!
This is epic mate
Watched all of Carnage, watched old Scotty's garage, and will watch this new stuff now.
Love your work mate. Oh and yeah we'd love to hear the story :)😊
Yeah I want to here the Scotty’s story
❤ #scottysgarage i still have street machine magazines from when they started including 1, 2,3,5,7,8,10 and many between then and now
Yep, definitely keep supporting Street Machine, after all they keep me employed :)
@@blownhemi I really like the drawings of the cars they used to have in the old street machine magazines any chance street machine might have copies I think would make some killer t-shirts / hoodies I think posters would sell quickly or calenders I know it's more of a street machine topic but everytime I think of street machine I automatically think of you plus I don't know anyone else that works there lol
New sub from Tassie.
Have viewed clips previously, will be watching plenty more by the looks of it. Pay attn kiddies, this, is a fair dinkum Aussie man right here!!
Thanks for the sub! And thanks for the kind words.
Keen for the content! Think it needs to start with a time-lapse of a yard clean up to freshen things up for the restart!
Looking forward to it!!
Good to see you having a go at projects at home. TBH Scotty, even if you got a sponsor to help you out, as long as it helps you with content. Dunlop, I hope you're listening, Scotty needs new Dunlop volleys!
Haha, some new KT26s wouldn't go astray
@@blownhemi he needs to go upmarket with the steelcap Volleys
Great to have you back and I would love to hear your story.
Really glad to see you back Scotty - I enjoy Carnage and will absolutely keep watching that but been following you here since 13s for $1300, and still think about it. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with on here. And yes would love to hear the back story. :)
When I first saw you grinding/welding in flip flops, and cussing up a storm, I was locked in! Glad to see your personal channel back!
Well, winter has just kicked off down under, so you'll have to wait until spring or summer for those kinds of shenanigans
Been a long time subscriber History would be great going back to when it all started plus another 13 for 1300 type video i really enjoyed the series
Good stuff. I'm here for the ride on a new journey. Looking forward to what you do with Trolvo and Lock Down Wagon. I was interested in them when they were on Carnage. I'd also like to hear the back story to Scottys Garage too. Good luck with Scottys Garage MK2.
Mate, 13s for 1300 was a great series....I've been here the whole time
great to see ya back at home
YES THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN WONDERING ABOUT FOR YEARS!!!
Will watch the video after dashcams australia sesh haha. Been here since 13s for 1300 and before!
I apologies as I did fall asleep after the Dash Cam Sesh. It would be great to see your view on other matters in the car scene, your life experiences with building cars if it was worthwhile or just money pits and such. I love how you are a raw aussie bloke, telling it like it is with no 2-face approach just being yourself and its great. Good to see you back on this channel it felt lonely when you moved to Street Machine full time but I think most follower would have gotten the hint and it was for the better for the time being. See you soon mate.
Special thank you for replying to me in my teen years through RUclips private messaging. I owe you a slab of a turkey drink from memory. Thanks again.
My idea: watch over your videos without the video cam just introduce yourself at the start and rewatch some of your videos in a montage/complication style with some commnetary or extra info on the cars and events and such, and we can binge watch 10-30minutes of your videos alike the dash cam videos!
Great stuff Scotty! I've enjoyed watching Carnage over the years, great to see you putting your skills to work to build something for yourself!
Love your work Scotty loved watching the 13s for 1300 vids back in the day
You could do some workshop tours/interviews around Melbourne, in amongst your projects.
I could if enough people want it, but let's make that one for down the road a bit
just joined! let the good times roll!
Loving your story already dude
I joined youtube about the same time and have been following since way back when! If i remember correctly i seening you at a car event back 2006 or 2007 in Albury. Truth be told i prefer the old scottys garage to carnage, its more like us normal people at home can achieve. Looking forward to seeing more content 👍🏻
Yeah, I lived in Holbrook(near Albury) from 2005 to 2013
And i cant forget v6 vengeance build street commodore days. We did everything you did up to turboing a vn about 2005.
