The programmable wireless function via Lezyne’s iPhone App sets any 4 of the 9 light modes to be the only ones selectable (which makes sense in a normal riding status) and the rear charging connector also receives a remote button cable Lezyne makes, which makes it easier to switch between light modes while still having your hand on the handle bar grip. The biggest feature is the aux battery which does come in some kits with the 1800i, and may be still available separately. That aux battery Velcro-straps to the front down tub of the bike which has a permanently attached cord, which terminates to a male power connector, which is mated to the 1800i’s flip-covered, circular female power input connector on the rear back lower edge of the headlight’s metal case. On Lezyne’s aux battery, there’s a USB mini input charge port and a USB-A output port which can provide an auxiliary wired output with a separately purchased cable to run to your iPhone possibly mounted on a handle bar; one option- mounted in a shock case, or to aux-power to other devices. This can be helpful if you are using your iPhone, and want to keep it at peak power, for navigational purposes and do not yet have a Garmin (or other brand) navigation bike computer. We think the 1800i is the only Lezyne light with all these features, although their other head lights may have one or two.
Hello! I have this model and it is not working, and I don't know how could I take it apart in order to repair it... how can I take it apart? Thank you in advance!
Hi there, frankly I did not had to service the light. But under the light close to the front of the lense these is a screw try unscrewing it and it might let you replace the rechargeable battery. good luck. Thanks for watching.
HI- Yes the light is going strong, no issues at all. I might get second one to put on my new Giant e-bike (Doing a video review on it today). Also yes you can buy a different mount on this light from amazon, LEZYNE store. It has a bit different mounting mechanism and design. Hope that helps.
Light turns off while connected to a power bank so I only connect it to external Power bank when low in internal battery. Other wise light will turn off and green power button starts blinking to show it is charging. Hope that helps.
@@nfkb With a usb power bank it will turn off while charging, but with LEZYNE external battery it will stay on while charging (as it has a dedicated connection for the light)
@@Velorize thank you, it’s kinda no go to me for very long rides then since I would carry a generic powerbank for the Garmin Edge device or my rear radar… too bad to force the sell of a proprietary charging device :-/
So LEZYNE has an AUX input on this light where you can connect their external power bank for using this headlamp for extended period of time. I did not buy it since my rides are under 2 hours at the moment. If you want a light that can be charge with any external power bank with standard USB -C check this video review. Thanks for watching the video. ruclips.net/video/5HV3hpJULk4/видео.html

hello
Does it work with powerbank when it's out of charge?

@@Velorize hello do you mean that the light don't work if it's connected to a powerbank via USB ?
