Great video. I know nutrition is very personal but I would like to see what you both recommend and why in terms of food and hydration. Why did you decide on one brand vs another. It’s good to hear what others use for longer runs (maybe another video for yous) 👍

Good video lads. Is a synthetic insulated jacket off the list? That’s the item that tipped me over a 12litre pack last year and forced me into a 20litre and all our gear is super light. How did you pack everything in a 8 litre pack?? 😮
Are you using dry sacks for items?
I went on a bit about an insulated jacket as a spare warm base layer, but it dragged on so it was cut to a spare base layer would ‘ok’. I’ll have one.
As for fitting it into an 8Ltr pack… I must be good at folding 🤷♂️😂
@@leebowmaker1885 Thanks Lee. Didn’t they specifically mention a synthetic insulated jacket last year or am I getting mixed up with another event? Either way, it’s not mentioned in this years kit list. They also say a buff or a hat. A buff?? I’d have froze to death last year! 😂

I wore brand new shoes for the Goat last year. I had Topos. Didn't have any issues as there's plenty of room by design. Also I buy a size up and wear 2 pairs of socks, if feet swell I can lose a pair of socks 👌
