I have built in the case about a dozen times. I agree with everything you've said. It also goes on sale for ~$42 pretty often. Great option for budget builds when $20 can make a big difference in storage options.
Well i can tell you this... you can 100% remove the dust filter in the front . You just bend the little metal pins on the inside of the front housing so you can remove it .
you actually helped me so much i was trying to sell my pc and the buyer was 20 minutes away and when i turned on the pc there was no display it was one of my ram sticks messing up
does you suggest to replace all the stock fan and go with higher rpm fans? Because i want to buy this case because of the layout with ODD and front mesh.
@@FilmCuy666 if you go with the 331 Mesh, as far as I can tell it doesn't have a front filter. its the front panel and a honeycomb on the fan cradle (like rear exhaust).
Can the 2 front 120mm fans be mounted between the front panel and the case and the 240mm rad on the inside of the case, so that room is saved on the inside for a GPU? (instead of both fans and rad mounted on the inside of the case) Thank you.
I know you can put the fans inside the front panel, but I'm not sure if you can then mount a radiator to the inside of the chassis, the screw holes are shaped grooves and this might make it difficult or impossible I don't know.
@@HardwareForGamers yea, in looking at those slots and raised points on the outside of the front of the case, I am not getting a postive feeling for having just the rad on the inside. Thank you though for your honest and quick response. Take care.
Damn, it's a reset button. I was hoping it was an ARGB controller switch. That's the dealbreaker for me. Along with the non-removeable front mesh. Looking at the Zalman (Z10? idr. The one with a 5.25 drive bay.) along with this one because I need/want an ODD bay. I'd just rather not have to use an external DVD or bluray drive or have to use a SATA adapter for the 5.25 DVD drives I already have. I'm oldschool. Ain't nothing gonna change that.
Thanks for the review, might pick up the non glass version. Just need a box with good cooling for PC parts. only bummer for me is how there are cables fixed to the front panel and not easily cleanable it is.
Just to be clear, the 240mm top vent will not hold a CPU AIO? You show that a single fan can go up there but seems odd that a dual fan, 240mm AIO would not fit.
how do i reinstall my gpu, i cannot fit it back in and i dont want to take apart the case. im so fucking frustrated rn i hate pcs the littlest bit messes up and everythings fucked and its so dumb
I just built a computer with this case and another with the acrylic side window a couple of weeks ago. The glass panel case also has 2 front fans whereas the acrylic sided case only has the rear exhaust fan. The glass for the case on the 1 I'm building now badly overlaps at the top and bottom which makes it look [pretty awful to be honest. My opinion is to pay more and get a better case with better fans. Thanks for the review by the way @HardwareForGamers Good job :)
Nice review and tests, I can't say the same thing about the case, it look ugly and the overall design seems outdated. I guess, if the price is right, maybe someone will buy this case. I do like the design of the uper front part of the case.

Just got the air version of this a few weeks ago. So far it's an awesome budget case!
i love the details u mention about cases, im gonna go with the focus G
I try to point out or talk about the stuff that I care about. I'm glad others appreciate it.
I subscribed because you helped me make a smart purchasing decision
Glad to help
@@HardwareForGamers I literally ordered this product last night. Thank you guys again!

It wouldn't be a bad idea, but then you're spending more money which kind of sucks.
@@HardwareForGamers I think i will buy the 331 mesh x, because it contains no fan and i already have fans from my present rig.
@@HardwareForGamers and can i remove the dust filter from the front panel? Looks like the case has it in front panel

How is the HDD tray; are temperature good without direct airflow on it??

1:37 power button have led indicator ?
I don't think so, but i'm not sure.
My only question is can you put a 1000w psu here? And a full fledge gpu on it?
I have this case, just built my PC. And was wondering what the red dot on the far right side of the front panel means?
Not sure, HDD light?? Maybe.
@@HardwareForGamers 😕not sure, but I'll just leave it be

Has anyone found a great optical drive for this case? I have it myself and cant serm to find one

I'm pretty sure a standard 240 AIO we not fit, some thinner radiators might but I wouldn't bet on it.
Is the cooler height really 155 mm? Because the specs say 160.
what's a "fan normalized" test? Does that just mean you tested with added fans (2 top and 2 front)?
Somewhat yes, I use the same fans in the same orientation on all the cases. 1 rear, 1 top, 2 front.
@@HardwareForGamers Thank you, excellent review. I think I found my case
I'm not sure if you'll respond but I'm getting 5 new fans how would u place the top fans? intake or exhaust
as exhaust
Could you put a fan next to the 120 mm radiator?
as long as there's more, I don't see why not.
Should've watched this before buying. It won't fit the noctua d15 I also bought 😕
🤫 Yeah, that kind of stuff sometimes happens.
I did the same exact thing. :(

The GPU is too long? Or is it that you can't seat the GPU in to the PCIe slot?
Just bought this case. Love reviewing it after I bought it 😑 I'm stupid🤦♂️
Does it have a slot for CD/DVD?
@@Oscar-qu8qm It says in the video, yes
What is the difference between this and the normal mx330
If I remember correctly the G is for glass, so the MX330 would have a steel left panel.
@@HardwareForGamers the MX330 has acrylic side panels instead of tempered glass

Yeah it feels like a case from 2010 that was heading in the right direction.
VERY thin metal
