In this video I asked some people who they are going to vote for, Kamala Harris or Donald Trump, in downtown Santa Monica and Santa Monica Pier, California. Based on White House's official website, kamala, as a VP, is labeled the first black woman and first South Asian American. I know some people vote for her just simply based on her family origins because they want to change, and it would be kind of cool because of more diversity. 😒

To be honest, regarding Kamala's identity, a lot of people feel confused. At least based on her face features, a lot of people would not think she is black. So that's why some people think she is not identified as black. But some people insist that she is black. 😊

Currently some research is going on and Harris herself has made changes to newer additions of her book that leaves out someone she said was a family member. May mean nothing. I honestly do not care about someone’s color, but if someone mislead about their heritage I think it should be quite alarming. Heritage obviously means something special to that nice lady and I understand. I’m afraid I find myself getting a bit testy as the election nears as I’m quite disturbed about all the misinformation out there and then rhetoric on both sides. I appreciate your channel that I just came upon and will be more respectful in the future. Thanks.

BTW, one of my coworkers, she is a black woman, I once asked her whether she identified Kamala as a black woman. She said yes. She showed me, "For much of us history, one eighth of African ancestry or one drop of african blood was considered as black," check it out online if interested.
But personally, I would be more interested in what he or she did, but not what he or she will do since Trump ran this country for 4 years, and kamala runs this country almost 4 years.
