Well in all fairness you got it in the same state it’s made in… 55 miles away from where it’s distilled. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 It had to travel 1000 miles to get to me. In KY it’s probably not even allocated. In my state it’s heavily allocated. Just like I’m pretty sure I can get Sam Adams beer that’s brewed 45 miles away far cheaper than you can get it in Ky. Although maybe not… Sam Adams has multiple breweries including one in Pennsylvania. There is literally no where in New England that you’re getting Eagle 🦅 rare for $33. Period.🤷♂️👍🥃

The reason krogers has it for msrp is because they are the largest account in the region with the distributors so they can get how ever much they want and move it quickly. I got a stagg for $57 bucks one time last year. Its still aloocated tho. Believe it or not, Louisville is unfortunately a very allocated area. Its pretty stupid. 9 times out of 10 your going to pay more here if you fond what youre looking for. Not always. If you have good report with a liquor store or visit the distilleries you can get bottles for great prices. Louisville does not get special treatment unfortunately.
Man oh man! I'd kill for any Buffalo Trace product. Our State Store only gets a few every Wednesday at 10am, and some "jerkoff" is there every Wednesday buying every bottle. Wow that bottle looks great! I priced out some Glen Morangie (spelling?) and it was $53 out the door! Man you're getting good deals up there in New England! Great review brother! Cheers!
I think it’s more likely that the store that’s near me prices fairly. Some stores around here not so much. Especially with the allocated stuff.🙄 It helps that it’s not a state controlled thing. There’s literally at least 4 liquor stores within 4 miles of my house. So you have choices. The downside is that unlike some states nearby you can’t buy beer and wine in Walmart or gas stations. You have to go to the liquor store. But they’re everywhere.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🥃

Got eagle rare at krogers here in the Louisville area for $33. Its only expensive if you pay those jacked up prices.
