I’m super excited for the woodworking content just seeing you be excited for something new. Good advice for the nights we wake up like wtf did I eat last night 😂🥰
I really enjoy the detailed scientific explanations of what’s happening on a cellular/chemical level & the ramifications of each scenario. My Autistic brain is better able to grasp the concept. I also appreciated learning how going hard on cardio to ‘make up’ isn’t helping. I’d love to see another video like this but what to do before you go to a big event (where you know your propensity for overindulgence is high). I’m sure there are similarly detrimental and habituated approaches to avoid. Especially with cozy chili and pie season around the corner.
I literally downloaded TikTok just to go watch all your videos. Because it's such great, peaceful content and there's not much of that anymore. So thank you ❤
First, can water!?! The US literally has every willy wonka thing you could think of - slightly jealous😂 Second, you are radiating super happy vibes in this vid and I’m here for it👌 This really is the first time I think I’ve seen anyone talk about this topic - the knowledge/advice as always is greatly appreciated 🤝
Sadly they coat the inside of cans with plastic and aluminium recycling and refining is hard in the environment. Glass is heavy so uses more fuel to transport. I keep a bunch of stainless water bottles and fill and seal them with berkey filtered boiling water.
I usually eat mostly fiber and dark green veggies with LOTS of water if I was eating bad (too much, high fat, lots of salt, and/or sugar). My mid-day meal will be a "detox" smoothie with LOTS of kale and spinach, some mango & pineapple, ginger and coconut water (unsweetened), some like banana too
Not sure if you'll read a comment from a video you posted a year go but FYI most aluminum cans have plastic lining in them to prevent the beverages from tasting like aluminum.
Great walk through for my post binge eating blues. Wonder if it would've helped with my post drinking blues back when I drank and was unhealthy? 😂 Buttttt the best thing about this was that you showed your dog! I've been anxiously awaiting to see what kind you had!!😊
11 cans of water is a bit much, especially the aluminum. I understand your plastics stance. Better yet is to have an R/O water system in your home and use a 40oz stainless steel insulated water bottle. Carry it with you everywhere. We do down here in the desert. Thanks for the advice. Such a photogenic young man you are ! Wish i had your physique and strength, but at 70, it ain't gonna happen... 😂
Before they had circular saws they made planks and boards and dimensional Lumber with snapping lines and splitting using a steel wedge to make the holes and then hard oak or teak wooden wedges driven in and then you need a stick the size of the top of the wedge to keep driving the wedge into the wood until it finally splits but they thought it was faster that way than cutting by hand
When you lifted up the canned water, i thought you were holding up a beer can - unironically hahah. I like to carry around a gallon-sized reusable bottle with a built in straw & handle. I chug through it daily. It seems counterintuitive, but you feel so much better after overeating bc it’s flushing out the excess sodium and helping all ur organs function better. I started doing it way back in high school bc i was getting drug tested monthly for THC. Gained a good habit from the whole ordeal tho :-)
That can is lined with plastic, by the way. It's completely annoying, but EVERY can that food or drink is sold in has been sprayed with a thin layer of plastic. I hated it when I learned that.
Love this! Is the tea safe to drink consistently? While hydrated of course. More along the lines of when on your cycle. Or would you recommend being more intentional with the asparagus maybe? Sorry if that’s a dumb question 😅
Amazing question. Dandelion root tea has been anecdotally promising for bloating and cramps. Yes. That's not a promise. But worth drinking for the day before you cycle begins and two days after. Then take a break until the next month rolls around. :) Worth a try!
You do some pretty intense workouts, but can u twerk? 😉 This comment is inspired by the ones below - I'll also say this, overeating is complex, some ppl really just let themselves go, some ppl struggle w serious issues and that bleeds over into over consumption, like BED for ex! Yes ik u know ur stuff, ijs! Also we need to see the dogs, that shud def be in another video. And yes I liked!
Hate to break it to you but the can is actually lined with a thin layer of plastic, otherwise the drink would corrode the inside. Somebody let him know
Did you know overconsumption obesity and metabolic disease are the enormous issues in america in the most impoverished areas? It’s not a one sized fits all issue. Context matters.
@@garyhinton1609 no. But I didn’t bring up eating disorders. it’s about overconsumption. And helping people who want to lose weight or get well from metabolic disease. Which, like I said, plague many of our least affluent communities here in America. I think you went another route, self implied some other innuendos….then fell off track from the big picture. Free access to weight loss advice.
@@garyhinton1609 Yea it wasn't about the people in Ukraine either, was it? Also my comment on eating disorders was not made in response to u directly, so I'm not sure what point ur trying to make but its moot! Also yes the point of the video was over consumption, so taking that into account, my comment is valid! Unlike yours!
Your perspective is, as always, amazing. I love and so appreciate your scientific descriptions. I'm learning a ton!
1. Drink Water
2. Get moving, do some cardio
3. Hit the Gym (challenging session)+ Get back on your diet plan
4. Dandelion root tea + Asparagus

Love you life advice Playlist. Watched it all today and felt grounded after. Which I very much needed today!
Maybe I should do more!??

Thank you for this comment today! I hope the content being a unique “island” of escapism is helpful to your mental state!
@@ThorenBradley It definitely is😊
I appreciate the tip of not punishing yourself. That’s the knee jerk reaction when you over eat. Just keep pushing forward and move on!

Great video Thoren, I’m excited for your future projects!!

Can you not just drink tap water?
Do you hit your morning cardio with an empty stomach?
Hey, are your counters and floors made from the wood you chop?
Sad fact: cans are lined with plastic. I just learned this the other day and I feel like I’ve been lied to all these years
What camera did you get?
