Funny fact (according to Songfacts): Dee originally wrote this for his wife Suzette, but let someone else record it. Four years later his producer called and said Celine Dion wants to record it. Dee agreed if they didn't tell Celine who wrote it: ”Do not tell her Satan wrote a Christmas song!” 😈 Celine went on to record it and released it on her 1998 Christmas album ”These are special time” which is on of the best selling Christmas album ever!
Dee confirmed this when I recently interviewed him (via phone) on my radio show. He said that he and his wife refer to their home as "the house that Saint Celine built" because it made him a fortune in royalties!

He has proudly stated in various interviews that the reason his voice hasn't been negatively affected over the years is for the fact that he didn't fall into the black hole that so many musicians do. He never did drugs, smoked, or drank to excess....and it obviously worked

I am here because I just learned dee snyder wrote this and wanted to hear him sing it and not dion.
Dee lives one town ever from me. My niece used to play with his daughter Cheyenne. Does an annual bike ride for charity, always changes up the cause. He's good people, voice is still strong. Lizzy rocks too.
Ive never met Dee, but have met Lzzy. Before her band was big they played small clubs in my town in PA. She was always super cool, humble and sweet.
I’ve met Dee in 2004 when I was in the Air Force. He’s a super cool dude.

Never heard of Hale, but I've had my head buried in the sand since 1992 (I'm lame). Looked up Halestorm, and I'm confused as to why this band isn't like Bon Jovi, Metallica, TSwift, Carrie Underwood, GnR level. They sound super great fantastic! Her voice will carry them across the genres. I'm impressed! Proud to say I know who the hell Halestorm and Lzzy Hale are now!

Myself and wife met Lizzy & her brother with band mates it was a meet & greet before their show. The entire band signed a photo that was handed out while I was standing in line , almost didn't get one they run out miracles do happen !
It was at the Stone Pony / Summer stage, what great collaboration with Dee Snider of Twisted Sister a vocal anchor in Rock and Roll history !
The opening band was Taylor Momsen and her band The Pretty Reckless, I wish I could have met her also and her band oh well maybe next time ! Love u Lizzy and u 2 Dee , one of the best Christmas duets since Bowie & Bing ! "Rock 4 ever" 🤘

Bought this album on record store day, enjoyed the guitar and drum sessions. Vocals are what I expected, still a fun buy.
So next year Dee we expect a collection of metal and rock singers to chorus this with you and boost 2021 with this again ... Christmas 2020 became a eye watering run as I remembered all the people we will miss sharing it with , and for those who have moved onwards laughter amongst the tears on moments of past.
