Totally agree, with every family has a budget , you see some videos with gifts up to the ceiling and I really think it’s for the parent satisfaction not the child , giving a few things that they have asked for or would like is definitely not so overwhelming ❤
I enjoyed your video very much. Never worry about what other people think of what you do or spend on your children. It's no one's business. I think you did a wonderful job and you have a nice selection of gifts. Merry Christmas!! 🎄
@@SweetieBox-d4b oh my gosh you must be psychic… that’s my next video!! 😆 I am just editing, will aim to post in the next couple of days ❤️❤️ Thank you for your lovely comment 🥰
Santa is a really hard parental struggle. don’t tell my children there is a Santa because at around 5 my eldest daughter used to write to Santa year round and Winnie the Pooh etc and then one day she found out from a little friend that Santa is not real. When I told her the truth she breakdown level freaked out in existential crisis and even asked if daddy and I were really her parents and were we really married etc. So now when any of my five ask I say who knows, Santa is really fun to wonder about just like the Tooth Fairy or Bigfoot or Leprechauns and Fairies. Sometimes they press harder wanting me to tell them Santa is real but it has helped to talk about the real man St Nick and agree with them that the magic is fun and I tell them that I like to hope it’s real also. Basically they pretend about Santa on their own as long as they want but it isn’t coming from me
That makes perfect sense! My Brother in Law had to do the same thing with my niece, she was having such anxiety at the thought of Santa coming into their house at night, they decided to tell her the truth to prevent such distress. It’s such a difficult topic indeed ❤️🥰
I wish I started in September I have barely began haha. I always do that too when I'm wrapping I think there's nothing there haha. I agree though there's definitely a limit, too much is overwhelming. I got Flossie a dolls house last year it's in the loft and I'm still not sure I'll give it yet, love everything you got and some helpful ideas x
@@OrdinaryEnglishMum Aww thank you so much hun! Glad to hear I’m not the only one who thinks this way 😆 I’ve already watched this back and decided it’s not enough presents LOL xx
